No this was the second penalty as it was Valeron (I think) who encroatched a whole 10 centimetres for the first and thats why it was retaken

Well, the referee seldom disqualifies two penalties in a row so I'm a little less mad. But I do hate this though becuse in 95% of all penalties someone does something like this so it's effectively a lottery if you get caught or not. Either the Referee staff should let this go altogether or they whistle for EVERYTHING.
Inconsistensy like this is just murder...

well, we can see all the referees in the world are blinds, they don't need glasses, but a dog...

in france we have also this problem, yesterday, 3 errors in a same match against lyon, with 3 penalties not seen by only the referees, and against troyes, the referee have not seen two penalties for OM, and given one who don't exist to troyes... after the "excellent" ivanov in intertoto, uefa must do something, video is the future, because too many decisions are not good...

Football tends to balance itself out, sometimes we get decisions sometimes we don't.
It's what infuriates some fans and makes some happy.
We live with it and I can't see a solution round the corner.

To err is human, to be a ref is not!!!

Better training is needed. The ref should be looking at 2 things on a penalty-the taker and encroachment in the box. The linesman also has 2 things to observe- movement of the keeper before the ball is struck and does the ball cross the line.

Pretty obvious that the ref isn't doing his job...
