Deportivo Alav?s completed the loan operation for Adri??n L??pez, the striker of Depor that hasn't enjoyed of too many chances during the current season. The Asturian player will perform at the Basque club for the remaining 10 games in Segunda Divisi??n. He will replace Nacho Garro, a player that suffered a serious injury during the past weekend.

Adri??n L??pez has only played 383 minutes on the present season, that's the third part of minutes enjoyed with Caparr??s during the past campaign (1,203 - liga & copa). The Asturian player has just been a starter in four occasions and he doesn't play since January (the 0-1 defeat at Almer?a). It seemed he will remain in the same condition until the end of the season, but a new window has been opened for him in Vitoria.

Deportivo Alav?s is struggling to survive in Segunda Divisi??n (18th in the table, just one point above relegation). And on the past weekend, the Basques suffered a setback after  midfielder Ignacio Garro suffered a serious knee injury during the 0-2 defeat with Eibar (he will be out for four months). Immediately, the club started to search for a replacement. The options were Adri??n, Rub?n Castro, Geijo (Levante) and V?lez (Murcia). They asked for the permission to la liga in order to replace the injured man and they received the OK on Thursday’s night.

At the end Alav?s and Deportivo reached an agreement: Adri??n will perform with the Basques for the remaining ten games in Segunda  Divisi??n and later he will return to Depor. The urgency of Alav?s is also related to the fact that coach Jos? Mar?a Salmer??n is having a lot of troubles in order to build a line-up for Sunday's game against Poli Ejido. The best striker in the squad is ex-Racing David Aganzo with ten goals scored on the campaign, but he's doubtful for a injury problem, therefore they need a backup now and is possible that Adri??n will be a starter on Sunday's game.

The striker admitted to La Voz de Galicia that his departure represents a good thing for him ?If I go there, I will have more chances in order to play and I will try to help. The present season hasn’t been a good one for me, but it’s clear that my team is Deportivo and it’s where I want to play.? Adri??n will join Jairo at Alav?s, the midfielder was loaned during the winter window to the Basque club.

The season of Adri??n at Depor:

Meanwhile, Rub?n Castro's move to Elche continues to be stopped. On Friday it was know that Deportivo is asking for €240,000 in order to accept the loan plus €200,000 if the team achieves the promotion to Primera. But Elche is only offering €100,000 plus €250,000 if the promotion is fulfilled. Like the case of Adri??n and Alav?s, Elche has an available spot since midfielder Pere Mart? suffered one week ago a knee injury that will sideline him during six months.

Elche is currently fifth in Segunda and is three points away from the promotion spots. Coach David Vidal is the one who has asked for Rub?n Castro. Elche is also the club where Iago Iglesias and ex-Depor V?ctor S??nchez del Amo are currently performing.
