Wednesday was a very active day in terms of transfer rumours. Two goalkeepers (Ori??n and Urko Pardo) and two strikers (Dani Aquino and Sergio Garc?a) appeared in the headlines. Meanwhile, some details were informed about the cases with the loaned players.

According to La Voz de Galicia, Deportivo still searching for a candidate in order to cover the goalkeeping function. The Galician paper affirms that Dudu Aouate and Gustavo Mun??a won't continue for the next season and appoints the priority is Agust?n Ignacio Ori??n (26), an Argentinean goalkeeper that performs at San Lorenzo and that was the third keeper of Argentina in the last copa America.

The problem is the price asked by San Lorenzo: €5 million. Ori??n was near to sign for Racing Santander at the beginning of the present campaign in a deal valued in €2.2 million, but he preferred to stay in order to play the copa Sudamericana. Now that San Lorenzo is fighting for the first places in Argentina, the keeper has doubled his price.

Since the price for Oriol is too high, La Voz appoints there's a second choice: Urko Pardo (25 - the player on the picture). He was born in Belgium but his parents are from Spain. He started his career at Anderlecht and later he was at Barcelona FC. He never debuted with the Catalans and signed for Iraklis Salonica F.C. (Greece). He has had a good season there and was chosen as the best player in the Greek league together with Nikopolidis. According to La Voz, the transfer of Pardo would only cost €1 million although Olympiakos is also interested in the keeper.

Meanwhile, Galician sportpaper Deporte Campe??n (DxT) wrote in its first page that Deportivo is interested in the signing of Dani Aquino (17), striker that debuted with Real Murcia at Primera Divisi??n during this season. The news came out first in Murcia and it has been rumoured that Lendoiro already talked with Murcia's president about the player. But this incorporation is difficult to happen since Real Madrid has a buyout option over the young attacker. Besides, Barcelona and Liverpool have been linked with him. Aquino is appointed as one of the main promises in Spain and he already played with Spain's U-17 squad (he performed in the last World Cup alongside Bojan Krkic). Aquino has played 17 matches on this season and he already scored one goal.

Finally, newspaper La Opini??n A Coru?a wrote that the 'desired' signing for the next season is Sergio Garc?a. (24)  The striker belongs to Zaragoza and has a €18 million buyout option, an impossible amount for Deportivo. The news came out first in Radio Coru?a. It seems that Lendoiro expects the price will be lower if Zaragoza ends in Segunda Divisi??n, besides he has a good relationship with his agent: M??gico D?az. Same agent that allowed the signings of Verd?? and Rodri. However, this incorporation is almost impossible since other clubs like Tottenham Hotspurs seems ready to pay more than €10 million for the Catalan striker. Garc?a has played in the whole 37 matches of this season and he has scored 4 goals.

According to newspaper El Ideal Gallego, Deportivo and Nantes FC already maintained contacts for the final transfer of Christian Wilhelmsson, and it seems the final price for the Swedish winger has been established between €3 and €4 million. The paper also affirms that Deportivo still has to negotiate with the winger the terms of his contract. Meanwhile, yesterday it was confirmed that 'Chippen' will play the UEFA EURO 2008  with Sweden.

The case of Filipe Luis was also analysed by El Ideal Gallego, the Galician paper affirms that Lendoiro could fulfil the €2.2 million buyout clause for the Brazilian left-back as soon as next week. If Depor pays the amount, then Filipe will sign a four-year contract with Deportivo.

The most uncertain case is the one of Angel Lafita. Coach Lotina wants him for next season, but the good performance of the Aragonian winger has called the attention of other clubs like Villarreal, according to the press in Valencia, coach Pellegrini wants him and Villarreal could be offering €6 million for Lafita. Lendoiro still has to fulfill the €2 million buyout option with Zaragoza. Los Ma?os also have two buyout options over the player: €3 million  for the season 2009/2010 and €3.5 million one year later. Reason why Lendoiro will have to negotiate first with Zaragoza in case the club decides to sell Lafita during the summer.
