The situation has angered the agent of the player, Marcelo Lombilla. The problem is that Lendoiro promised to open the doors to the ex-Milan defender in case that a €10 million offer appears. Lombilla worked three months in order to have that offer, and when he presented it, Lendoiro was risen the limit. For the moment all the sides are keeping their position. Depor’s president decided to stay in La Coru?a and Lombilla in Madrid. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s squad is playing a couple of friendly games in Spain.

It’s also known that Coloccini isn’t the only choice in Newcastle’s agenda. According to the rumours, they are also interested in Nicol??s Burdisso from Inter Milan FC. It seems the English side could offer €6.5 million for Burdisso in case the deal for Coloccini fails.

The Canarian winger confirmed to Riazor.org that he already negotiated the cancellation of his contract, one of the priorities in order to sign for Xerez ?I have forgotten some money they want me to forgive and I did it without problems. I didn’t want to give any trouble, what I want is to leave, they weren’t happy with me and that’s all. I am not going back in a sporting sense, I was very happy at Xerez during the past year and I’m going there, to a club that really wants me.?

Momo also confirmed that right now he’s waiting to see the solution of Xerez’s problems, this club still owing to its players an amount around the €500,000 in terms of unpaid wages. They must solve the debt before midnight because if not, they could end in Segunda B. As soon as Xerez is out of trouble, the Canarian will sign a contract with them and then his exit from Deportivo will be officially announced.
