Lotina will continue with his policy of rotations for the UEFA cup confrontation in Norway. Firstly the squad will return to play with the system based in three central defenders. Secondly there are some novelties about the names in the starting squad. Like Guardado who will perform as left-back or to witness the debut as starter of Omar Bravo.

More novelties ahead of the UEFA clash against SK Brann in Norway (Thursday, 19h00). Coach Lotina has confirmed that he will return to play with the system of three central defenders. More in concrete the defensive line will be composed by Laure performing as right-back, Diego Colotto debuting with Depor covering one of the three spots in the centre, Lopo and Adri??n L??pez â€?Piscu’ playing alongside him and Andr?©s Guardado covering the left-back position.

The appearance of Guardado in the defensive line is a novelty, but it isn’t strange since Lotina already said during the pre-season that this was an alternative in order to give rest to Filipe. The presence of Colotto in the formation should be a surprise since the Argentinean has only worked with the group during the last two weeks. But Lotina thinks that Z?© Castro needs a rest and also wants to see his newest acquisition in action.

In midfield Sergio and Juan Rodr?guez will perform on the pivote functions. It must be reminded that De Guzm??n is suspended after been sent off in the second-leg game against Hajduk Split, reason why Antonio Tom??s will be the alternative on the bench. It seems that Lafita will finally debut as starter on the season covering the left wing while Pablo Alvarez will keep his place as right winger. Finally, one of the novelties for the game is that Omar Bravo will debut as starter playing as the lonely striker. Mista is also been rested and Rodolfo Bodipo has been called in order to be the alternative on the bench. The squad traveled to Norway on Tuesday’s afternoon.

List of called players (19): Aranzubia, Fabricio (goalkeepers); Lopo, Colotto, Piscu, Z?© Castro, Laure, Filipe (defenders); Sergio, Antonio Tom??s, Juan Rodr?guez, Lafita, Guardado Pablo Alvarez, Valer??n, Cristian, Verd?? (midfielders); Omar Bravo and Bodipo (strikers)

The rival is living a tough moment. Brann won the last Norwegian league (Tippeligaen), but right now is just 8th after twenty matches. Besides, two of its two best players are doubtful for injury reasons: Captain Eirik Bakke (tight) and Gambian-Swedish striker Njogu Demba-Nyr?©n (muscular). Demba has scored three goals in the current Tippeligaen. To make things worse, Thorstein Helstad was transferred a couple of months ago in a €2 million move to French club Le Mans. He was the second best scorer in the league before the transfer (eleven goals).
