27 Jan 2006
The speculation about V?ctor's transfer to Liverpool started to flow as soon as was know that the Madrilian winger wasn't called for the match against Atl?©tico. Rumours even appointed that the deal with the Premiership's club includes the loan of the Chilean striker Mark G??nzalez.

V?ctor S??nchez wasn't called for today's match against Atl?©tico Madrid, at the beginning the club didn't explain the reason for his absence, but the papers in England and Spain started to appoint that the Madrilian winger is near to sign a deal with Liverpool, Rafa B?©nitez expressed in the past days his desire of bringing in a winger during the transfer window, since he failed to fulfil the incorporations of Atl?©tico Madrid's Luciano Galletti and Benfica's Simao Sabrosa, it seems that V?ctor is the next name on his list.

The British media even speculates that the player could be presented this Sunday as Liverpool's player with a three-and-a-half-year contract in the pocket, the Galician radio has also appointed that the deal could include the loan spell of Mark G??nzalez to Deportivo, the Chilean striker isn't in the plans of Rafa B?©nitez, and the Premiership's club is searching for an exit, it has been commented that Real Sociedad was interested in him, but the move for V?ctor could change the plans.

Victor had an irregular participation on the current Depor's campaign, several injuries that included muscular problems and his recent thigh injury is causing this situation, the 29-year-old winger ends his contract in June and it could be the last chance of  Lendoiro in order to recollect some money with him. For the moment there isn't know the amount of the possible offer made by Liverpool.

CESAR'S EXIT IS MORE COMPLICATED
It has been also speculated that C?©sar will be transferred to Bolton Wanderers, but apparently there isn't an agreement yet, a fact that was explained by Bolton's coach Sam Allardyce in the website of the Premiership's club: "I would like to sign C?©sar but there have been difficulties with negotiations. It's unlikely, but I will keep trying to make it happen before the month is out."

Like in the case of V?ctor, the 28-year-old defender ends his contract in June, the papers in England speculates that Bolton's official could be thinking in waiting until the summer before signing C?©sar. Apparently Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham are also interested in the Asturian defender.
