President Lendoiro could be preparing a new squad for the next season. Apparently he's closing down some deals with the first reinforcements and in this sense, the names of Albert Lopo, Pablo ?lvarez and Juan Rodr?guez have appeared recently in the papers as possible targets.

Yesterday, sportpaper AS published an article stating Lendoiro has an agreement with Juan Rodr?guez (23).  The Malaga midfielder has been on the Depor president’s wish list for a while now and apparently his agent, Manuel Garc?a Quil??n, confirmed the existence of a pre-contract with the player.  Rodr?guez ends his obligation to M??laga in June and his new club would pay him €600,000 per year in a deal that would send him to La Coru?±a for the next five seasons.

Curiously, the other big paper from Madrid (Marca) published an article in which the player himself said that a pre-contract doesn't exist: "Some weeks ago it was Villarreal, and now it’s Deportivo. The truth is that I'm surprised. My first choice is to stay at M??laga, because the wish of any player is to stay with the team of his home town."

However, it’s no surprise to find one negative detail about Rodr?guez in confirming the deal.  The young midfielder is trying to win a place in the starting lineup after the exit of coach Tapia and surely he doesn't need more trouble at his current club. The player was a regular starter in Tapia's team, but in the last seven games he has only started twice.

Rodr?guez is known for being a player with good mobility and for being effective with his passes. He has played in M??laga since the 2003/04 season and has scored six goals during his short career. But Rodr?guez isn't the only name rumored in the papers: midfielder Pablo ?lvarez (25) and defender Albert Lopo (25) also end their contracts in June and several sources are linking their future with Depor.

It must be remembered that six players are ending their contracts with the Galician club in June (Molina, Dani Mallo, Jes??s Mu?±oz, V?ctor, C?©sar and H?©ctor).  As well, the possible exits of Duscher, Sergio and Andrade means that the team will most definitely need fresh blood for the next campaign. Rodr?guez could be Duscher’s replacement, while Lopo could be the one for Andrade. This is only speculation, but everyone expects that this summer will be a busy one in La Coru?±a.
