It seems that Lotina already has the lineup to face Atletico, but he has one doubt: who will join Lopo at the centre of the defence? The spot is disputed between Pablo Amo, Diego Colotto and Piscu, this last one has surpassed an ankle injury.

Coach Miguel Angel Lotina already has the lineup that will face Atletico Madrid on Sunday at the Riazor (21h00 CET). It’s the usual 4-2-3-1 figure, but the Basque coach has one doubt: The partner of Lopo at the centre of the defence. With Z?© Castro out for contract reasons, the first candidate to replace him is Pablo Amo, actually the Madrilenian took the spot against RCD Espanyol as the Portuguese was playing in midfield, it was Amo’s first game as starter on the season after battling with a pubalgy case.

Another candidate is Diego Colotto, the Argentine was a starter in past occasions as the same Z?© Castro was injured, but he lost his place at Montjuic. Who is joining the list of options is Adri??n L??pez â€?Piscu’, the Galician missed the last trip to Catalonia due to an ankle sprain sustained on the past Saturday, but he worked without major difficulties on Thursday, meaning he’s available for the coach.

The rest of the squad seems decided, Aranzubia will stay at the goal, while Laure will keep playing at the right-back position. Lopo will be leading the centre of the defence and Filipe Luis will keep adding minutes at the left side.

In midfield, the return of Sergio and Juan Rodriguez to the starting eleven seem confirmed. Antonio Tom??s is fit to play, but it seems that Lotina will reserved him, while Lafita and Guardado have a secure place at both wings. Also secure is the participation of Juan Carlos Valer??n as starter and covering the playmaking function, this since Verd?? is suspended.

The Canarian was saying after Thursday’s training that Deportivo’s squad has high hopes about the end of the season, this no matter the recent poor form in la liga, We have a sensation that this season has been very good for us. We have a close option of entering to Europe, and we must make an effort in order to see if we are able to qualify, but the playing field is what will decide if we enter or not.

Finally, Lassad Nouioui also has a secure place in the lineup, this since Riki hasn’t been able to train during the week due to a contusion in the ankle. Rodolfo Bodipo is returning from a hamstring strain, but it isn’t probable that Lotina will put him since the start of the game.
