Albert Lopo has been ruled out of the game against Athletic Bilbao, while Manuel Pablo already returned to train with the squad. Meanwhile, Riki and Angel Lafita still doubtful for Saturday’s clash, all appoints they will miss the game.

On Thursday, the good news came with the reincorporation of Manuel Pablo to the trainings, the Canarian has missed the last eleven official games due to an injury that was first diagnosed as an adductor problems and that turned later into a an inflammation in the Soleus muscle (knee). In past training sessions the right-back worked at a different pace, but this is the first time he fulfilled a complete session without facing any problem. However, it isn’t expected he will be starter on Saturday.

Ironically, in the same day, Lotina has lost another player due the same problem suffered by the Canarian, and that man is Albert Lopo. The Catalan has been doubtful all over the week and on Thursday he tried to work at the same pace than his team mates, but he didn’t end the session after feeling a strong pain in the knee, he left the pitch and was taken to the hospital in order to make some scans. And the results indicate the central defender is suffering a stress fracture in the Soleus, problem that will sideline him for a couple of weeks.

Doctor Moncho Barral told reporters that he doesn’t know how many days the player will spend out of action, this since this kind of cases are difficult to predict, but it’s almost certain that Lopo will miss the next three clashes: Athletic Bilbao, Almeria and Malaga FC.

In the meantime, Lotina was testing with a defensive line composed by Z?© Castro and Diego Colotto at the centre, Laure at the right-back position and Filipe Luis on the left side. It’s a different couple at the centre compared to the squad that lost with Atletico Madrid, it seems that Z?© Castro is replacing Lopo, while Colotto is doing the same with Pablo Amo.

Meanwhile, Riki and Angel Lafita still doubtful for the game against the Basques. Riki has been dragging with an ankle problem since the game with Betis, while Lafita sustained a knee sprain against Atletico. It’s almost sure that both will miss Saturday’s confrontation at San Mam?©s. Today, Lotina will decide the list of players picked for the game (trained scheduled at 10h15 at Abegondo).
