Lotina is losing Antonio Tomas but it could be regaining Manuel Pablo ahead of the clash with Almeria. Riki and Lafita are still doubtful, while Z?© Castro is injured but ready to play. Meanwhile, Almeria arrives with Negredo as the main threat.

Deportivo faced UD Almeria at the Riazor on Wednesday (20h00 CET), the Galician squad returned from Bilbao on Sunday and started to prepare the game on Monday. Antonio Tom??s is already discarded for the game as the scans indicated the Cantabrian midfielder suffered a tear in a muscle (stress fracture) in his right thigh, injury suffered at the beginning of the match at San Mam?©s.

Therefore, the ex-Racing Santander will be out of action during three or four weeks, this means he could be ending his season now. Meanwhile, Riki (ankle) and Lafita (knee) are both doubtful for the game since they were unable to train on Wednesday’s session.

Also, Z?© Castro missed Monday’s training due to an ankle sprain suffered in the game with Athletic, the Portuguese defender explained to reporters what occurred during the game, â€?There was a play at the start of the second half in which I harmed myself. I had to dose my efforts. The coach was asking things that I couldn’t complete and for that reason we talked, because I preferred to save my strengths for the key moments. Now, my ankle is a little hurt and we have to see what will happen in the next hours. Today is in a better condition than yesterday and I believe I could be fit for Wednesday.â€?

The ex-Atletico man was also talking about the European aspirations of Depor, It's a very important week, two crucial games against two great rivals. I hope that Depor could be very well after the game at Malaga, it will be good for us." He was also praising the squad of Almeria, They have a very solid team, and they are very good from midfield to attack. They have Negredo, Uche… very fast players. In a personal sense, I thing we must be careful and be focused, like we did at Bilbao, place where no matter we didn’t make the game of our life, we did the game that we should have fulfilled.

Another two absentees in the game against the Andalusians are Mista (pubalgy) and Albert Lopo (knee). Both are also discarded for Saturday's visit to Malaga FC. At least Manuel Pablo has been working without problems since the past week and Lotina is able to pick him up for tomorrow’s match.

At Almeria, coach Hugo S??nchez doesn’t have major concerns ahead of the clash at the Riazor and is able to name an unchanged squad compared to the one that defeated Osasuna during the weekend (2-1).  The victory is leaving Almeria in a comfortable position, seven points above the drop zone and just six points away from the mathematical salvation.

The main asset at the Andalusian club is without doubt Alvaro Negredo, striker that has scored nineteen goals on the liga season. The ex-Real Madrid has scored the 50% of the goals conquered by Almeria on the liga campaign and represents the main threat for tomorrow’s game at the Riazor.
