It is now confirmed that striker Lassad Nouioui will miss his third game in a row as he still facing physical problems ahead of the visit to the Sanchez Pizju??n stadium. At Sevilla, Frederic Kanoute still doubtful for the game.

Wednesday’s training session confirmed that Lassad Nouioui is not fit to play in the match against Sevilla FC (Saturday, 20h00 CET). The Tunisian attacker didn’t take part of the session despite that a previous scan determined that his muscular contracture is already healed. The ex-Fabril still facing problems to run and his participation against Sevilla has been discarded. It is the third game in a row that he misses after scoring the winning goal against Real Valladolid.

The absence of Lassad means that coach Lotina will probably keep trusting in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the figure of a playmaker in the scheme, job that probably will be for Joan Verd??. What still uncertain is if Angel Lafita will stay in the starting eleven or if Pablo Alvarez will replace him. It is the only doubt in a squad that will probably be the same that drew with Getafe.

After the training session ended, keeper Daniel Aranzubia talked to reporters at the press room, he was affirming that this is the last opportunity for Depor in order to clinch a European spot, At this height of the season we usually have matches in which one team plays for a lot and the other for nothing, but in this occasion both sides play for everything: Sevilla to secure a spot in the Champions League and for us is the last chance.

"Throughout the year you're playing games and all are important for one reason or another, but this will be the last and hopefully everything will work out, because if don’t achieve the victory, we would have to rely, heavily, on other results. We travel with the intention of getting the three points and let’s see if we’re lucky." The Basque added to his previous comment.

At Sevilla, striker Frederic Kanout?© still doubtful. He is suffering a problem in the pubis region since the last game against Osasuna. The doctors of the club have said he should be fit for Saturday, but he skipped again the training session on Wednesday and there’s the chance he could miss the clash. The player from Mali already scored two goals in three games against Depor on this season (two games in Copa and one in liga). Also, the Andalusian club already informed that there are no tickets remaining for the game, this after Sevilla offered two tickets for the price of one for the clash against Depor. The Sanchez Pizju??n stadium has a capacity for 45,500 spectators.
