The casualty of striker Adrián is forcing Lotina to make a couple of changes in his plans, starting with the presence of Riki at the starting eleven, later the presence of Bodipo for the first time in the list for a liga match.

On Thursday coach Miguel Angel Lotina released the list of picked players for the game at Tenerife, the novelties were the casualties of midfielder Juca and striker Adrián López for injury reasons. The Brazilian is out for fifteen days due to a muscular problem, while the Asturian picked a pubis injury plus an adductor problem after the game at Villarreal.

The casualty of Adrián moved Lotina to call Rodolfo Bodipo for the first time on the season, the Equatoguinean attacker was ‘mysteriously’ discarded at the start of the season and as it happened on the past year, he is starting from zero.

Bodipo will be sited on the bench, but it’s a small step forward for him, as he said to reporters, “I am content. I have been working with the same intensity of the pre-season, and now this little reward has came and it’s time to enjoy it. It’s just my name on the list, but it’s a small step forward. We must go little by little, working hard and taking advantage of what it comes. The situation is tough, but I work for myself, to be fit for the day my chance comes. It’s good news, because you like to see this things coming when you work hard.”

Riki will be the one replacing Adrian in the lineup; while it’s expected that Juan Rodríguez will take the spot of Juca at midfield. The rest should be the same team that defeated Villarreal at the Riazor, including Diego Colotto at the centre of the defence, and Lassad Nouioui performing as second striker/playmaker.

Picked players for the game:
Goalkeepers: Aranzubia and Manu
Defenders: Manuel Pablo, Laure, Lopo, Colotto, Zé Castro and Filipe
Midfielders: Juan Rodríguez, Antonio Tomás, Sergio, Pablo Álvarez, Valerón and Guardado
Strikers: Mista, Bodipo, Lassad and Riki.
