All appoints that Lotina will repeat the experiment of playing with Filipe on the left wing and Manuel Pablo at the left-back position, meanwhile Mallorca also suffered in order to reach the quarterfinals in Copa Del Rey.

Coach Miguel Angel Lotina is once again facing an injury crisis in order to face a liga game, and this time the problems are not reserved for the striking zone, but are also extended to midfield; Sergio is discarded due to muscular elongation on his right knee, while Juca seemed in pain after the final whistle against Valencia. The same Lotina also confirmed that Antonio Tomás asked for the change in Copa since he was still feeling a muscular problem.

This means that the coach could be traveling to Majorca without three of the four players that normally perform on the pivote functions, in the end Juan Rodriguez and Fabril’s Juan Dominguez could be the couple appearing at midfield territory.

The problems are bigger in attack, though it seems that Lassad Nouioui (stress fracture) will be ready for the game. Also, Pablo Alvarez seems to be recovered from an adductor problem, therefore ‘The Shark” could be appearing at the right wing or even in the playmaking function, but the fact is that Mista (groin), Riki and Andrés Guardado (both knee) are already discarded.

On Friday Lotina told to Radio Onda Cero that he is feeling optimistic about the situation with the injured players, “Lassad is fine, today he was working at Abegondo without any problem. Pablo Alvarez is also going in the right direction and I think he will be ready for Mallorca; Mista and Riki will enter during the next week and Guardado is working well at the gym.”

Depor’s squad didn’t train on Friday as the players were resting after the effort done in Copa, but the Galician papers believe that Lotina will keep playing with the “experiment” of Filipe Luis on the left wing, which will mean to make a change in defence for the first time since matchday 04, the modification is to allow the entry of Laure at the right-back position and the move of Manuel Pablo to the left side.

Another thing that seems clear is the appearance of Adrian in attack with Bodipo as the only alternative, though Lassad has the chance to join the Equatoguinean at the bench. The final scheme for the game at the Ono Stadi (Sunday, 17h00 CET) will be tested on Saturday’s morning, after the training session the team will travel to Majorca.

Meanwhile, if Deportivo suffered to achieve the pass in Copa, on Thursday it was the turn of RCD Mallorca. The team coached by Gregorio Manzano had big troubles to eliminate Segunda club Rayo Vallecano (aggregate 4-3), the Madrilenians won the first leg 2-1 and the Majorcans faced the second-leg with several rotations and trying to score an early goal at the Ono Stadi; instead Rayo scored before half-time and Manzano sent his best offensive players for the second part: Ariz Aduriz, Gonzalo Castro and Mario Suárez.

In the end the Majorcans qualified thanks to the three goals scored in the second half, one of them, the one that gave the pass, conquered during the stoppage time by Mario Suárez. The first two goals were scored by Víctor Casadesús, striker that had to be replaced due to a shoulder fracture, the Algaida-born attacker will miss the clash with Deportivo since he needs five weeks for a full recovery.
