Lotina was content with the performance of his team, mainly because it was composed by youngsters. Meanwhile, Jimenez criticised the lack of ambition of his squad, especially during the first half.

Despite the elimination in Copa Del Rey, coach Miguel Ángel Lotina was content with the victory, especially for the circumstances that surrounded the game, “We came here trying to grow in the individual aspect, also trying to gain confidence with the order of the team, and we have won with eight B squad players on the pitch. Things have gone, almost, better than we expected. It is something to be satisfied.”

“The Copa season had good and bad things, starting with the moment when we crossed ways with Barca, Valencia and Sevilla, the favourites. To eliminate Valencia meant a huge physical effort for us and we still paying the price. But the good thing is that we gave minutes to our young people trying to see them growing, and now people can realise that Abegondo is useful for something.” He added.

Later the Basque coach was asked by the Andalusian media about the Champions League chances of his squad, he answered that, “If we enter into the Champions League, then I'll hang the medals on my own, no need for anyone to do it for me; I think we’ve a nice team, with talent, but there are several teams that have created a bigger expectation and we must be realistic, but it doesn’t mean that we don’t have hope. We need to be content with the results in liga, now with seven injuries, some of them out for months, we have to stop, think, play football and wait. For how long this will last? I honestly do not know."

Three Fabril’s youngsters were starters in the game, and only one of them was a starter: Diego Seoane. He was giving his opinion about the debut, “I am content for the game we made, we were serious in attack and had the ball when we could. We couldn’t pass the tie, but it is difficult to overcome a 0-3.”

The Ourense-born defender also said that he is realistic about having a new chance at the first team, “I want to stay here, but off course I will do what they tell me. If I continue like this, I will still fighting. There’s a big difference with Tercera, the players perform at the highest level and you need to be focused from minute one to minute ninety, any error might end in a goal. We received a message from Tito (Ramallo) congratulating us for the debut, so I am thankful with him.”

Rodolfo Bodipo scored his first goal on this season, goal that meant the victory, but the striker left the pitch injured, later he was saying that it wasn’t a serious case, “It was just a small muscular problem. It was a long time since I played so many straight games, and I suffered a little bit”

The Equatoguinean attacker was dedicating the goal to Filipe Luis, “This win is for Filipe, because he deserves it, and it was an important game after what happened at the Riazor. I didn’t have clear chances to score, but I seized the clearest chance and it’s mentally good for me, because I spent a bad month in January.”

At Sevilla, coach Manolo Jiménez was criticizing the lack of competitiveness at his squad, “We were lost until the goal of Bodipo. But I just want to remind the qualification to next round. It hasn’t been easy our road in Copa. We need more tension on here, a thing we didn’t had in the first part. The difference is when we play at one hundred percent.”

Defender Fernando Navarro was also unhappy with the performance of his team, “We need to improve a lot to achieve the goals of the season. We knew what was at stake: to pass to semifinals, and that’s why we gave a step forward in the second half, because the first part was a disaster. We must learn in order to not repeat it, against Valencia we will see a different team.”

Lotina traveled to Seville with six players from Fabril plus other four youngsters that were recently promoted, that’s the youngest squad for an official game since 1998. At the time the coach was José Manuel Corral and he traveled to Valladolid to play a liga game with eight players from Fabril: David, Maikel, Deus, Pinillos, Diego, Toni, Padín and Aira. In that game Aira, Pinillos, Padín, Maikel and David were starters, later Deus, MaikelToni entered as replacements.
