The current week has been tough with the speculation surrounding coach Caparr??s, but he has preferred to concentrate his efforts on the next game against Racing Santander. Juanma and Gallardo will miss the game and apparently Iago will have a place in the starting lineup.

Caparr??s is preparing some changes to the lineup that conceded four goals in Madrid, the first modification is the exit of C?©sar from the central defensive positions. H?©ctor will take his place as Juanma is still out (muscular injury), the Andalucian will join Coloccini in the job of securing the central defence. The other change is the inclusion of Manuel Pablo to cover the right side while Capdevila will continue on the left.

In midfield the novelty is Juli??n De Guzm??n, the Canadian could replace Sergio as the pivote. Aldo Duscher was experiencing some troubles in his knee, but he trained normally during yesterday's session and now the Argentinean is ready to play on Sunday.

The offensive line will be the same with Iago as second striker. Gallardo is out with muscular problems and for that reason V?ctor will cover the right wing while Munitis will continue on the left. Finally Diego Trist??n will have a new chance as the striker of the squad.

Despite Racing's current position (13th), the Cantabrian team has presented a good performance in their away matches with four victories, seven draws and only four defeats. Coach Manolo Preciado will welcome back the services of striker Mauricio Pinillos who was suspended last weekend, while the Korean defender Lee Ho Jin could make his debut in the squad.

Midfielder Vitolo talked on Wednesday about the current objectives of his squad: "We will face a difficult game, one that's also very important to us. A victory in the Riazor could leave us really close to salvation, to take a step forward is a key aspect as we will have a difference of at least five points with the other teams fighting in the relegation zone. We also have to remember that they are having problems in their home matches, and we must take advantage of that."
