Deportivo is travelling today as it begins its second week of work; the team will play two friendly games in Switzerland and later will have another match in Germany. RCDLC.com reveals all the details.

The second week on the pre-season will allow the fans to witness the first details of the squad that Lotina is preparing ahead of the liga season 2010/11. Today the team is travelling to Switzerland in order to dispute the 49th edition of the Uhrencup, a four-team tournament held annually since 1962 and that’s disputed at Stadion Brühl in Grenchen.

Depor’s debut on the pre-season will be on Tuesday against Swiss club BSC Young Boys, three days later it will dispute the match for the third place or the final against Dutch club FC Twente or German VfB Stuttgart. Later, on next Sunday, the Galician team will travel to Berlin in order to play a third friendly match against FC Union Berlin.

On Saturday, Lotina revealed the list of players that will take part of these three friendly matches. The casualty for injury reasons is Juca (thigh), Aranzubia (shoulder) will also miss the three games, but he’s travelling with the squad. Meanwhile Iván Pérez wasn’t picked up, which clearly demonstrates that Lotina doesn’t counts with him.

At the beginning it was said that new signing Stopira was going to stay in order to have his first trainings with Deportivo B, but at the last minute it was announced that he was going to replace Filipe Luis; this because the Galician club is accelerating the negotiations for his transfer.

List of picked players (24): Aranzubia, Manu, Diego Rivas (goalkeepers), Manuel Pablo, Laure, Rochela, Aythami, Colotto, Lopo, Ze Castro, Stopira, Raul Garcia (defenders), Antonio Tomas, Juan Rodriguez, Juan Dominguez, Saul, Pablo Alvarez, Urreta, Valerón, Michel, Desmarets (midfielders), Riki, Adrian and Lassad (strikers).
