Deportivo travels today to Greece in order to start the last mini-tour of the pre-season; the team will play two friendly games and will complete five training sessions outside of Spain.

The first team of Deportivo is facing its last preparation tour before the debut in la liga; today the team will fly to Athens (18h30 CET), place where it will complete two training sessions plus a friendly match against Olympiacos CFP. The group will arrive late at night and will be concentrated at Hotel Ledra Marriot.

On Wednesday the team will complete the first training session of the tour at the sporting city of Olympiacos (09h30 CET), and on that night the squad will face the team trained by ex-Espanyol coach Ernesto Valverde at the Karaiskakis Stadium (20h00).

Thursday will see Deportivo completing a new training session in Greece (09h30 CET), and the rest will be a day off for the players. On Friday the group will fly directly to Rome (12h30 CET). The place for the concentration will be the Hotel Mancini Park, place where the squad will complete a new training session during the afternoon (19h00).

On Saturday, the team will have a training session during the morning (09h30 CET) and the rest will be a day off for the players. Finally, on Sunday the squad will complete its last training session of the tour (09h30) and later it will face SS Lazio at the Olympic Stadium (21h00).

The team will return to La Coruña on Monday, it will be a flight with a stopover in Madrid; it’s expected that the group will arrive to Galicia at 16h55 (CET). The coaching staff still has to decide if it will complete a training session on that day; it will depend on any delay with the flight. Later the team will spend the rest of the week preparing the debut in liga against Real Zaragoza.

About the composition of the squad; Lotina is travelling with 22 players; the absentees for injury reasons are Raul Garcia (knee sprain), Lassad and Urreta (both muscular problems). Depor’s coach said that Lassad and Urreta will hardly be ready for the debut in liga against Zaragoza.

At the beginning it was said that Michel was going to stay out due to an ankle problem, but later it was confirmed that he’s travelling and that at least he will play against Lazio. Aranzubia is also travelling, but won’t play as he’s in the final stage of his recovery process. The novelty on the list is Felipe Ramos, keeper that just arrived from Madrid and that could be making his debut wearing Deportivo’s shirt.
