Deportivo faces a new final at the Riazor. With the UEFA spots on target, the Galicians will try to surpass Sevilla on the pitch and also in the table. The main obstacle for Caparr??s are the injuries while Juande Ramos' squad faces in the next 17 days the biggest challenges of the present season.

The long-term cases of Valer??n, Andrade and Taborda have been joined by the problems of V?ctor (calf), Duscher (knee), Gallardo (hamstring), C?©sar (muscular problem), Juanma (groin), Iv??n Carril (flue), Molina (calf), Trist??n (groin) and Arizmendi (flue). Of all these cases only Trist??n and Molina seems to be doubtful since they weren't able to train with normality in yesterday's session.

The worse problem is in the defensive sector, if Molina isn't fit, Dani Mallo will see his debut in the current season. His last participation with Deportivo occurred in the last matchday of the past season (1-1 Vs Numancia). The suspensions of Coloccini and Manuel Pablo are also forcing to make some changes. Caparr??s will send the duo Juanma-C?©sar to the centre. Both men have been out lately for injury reasons, but they are ready to return. H?©ctor will continue in the starting lineup, but this time he will play on the right side while Capdevila will continue on the left.

In midfield Duscher has surpassed his knee problems and will start as the pivote, Sergio will join him in the job. V?ctor has also surpassed his physical problems and will play on the right wing. Gallardo couldn't participate in the match because of the clause in his loan spell with Sevilla, while Munitis will continue to perform on the left wing.

Iago will play his fourth consecutive game as starter, Caparr??s is delighted with his performance and one more time the Galician youngster will command Depor's offensive efforts. Arizmendi is the selected choice in order to score the goals, but since he isn't at 100%, Caparr??s has called Senel to the last training session and the option of Xisco couldn't be discarded either.

Dani Mallo talked yesterday about the possibility that he has to play the match, he wanted to transmit calmness to the fans: "The ideal thing would be to come to this game with a series of matches seeing activity, but if I have to play tomorrow, I will try to create a good impression for the fans, everybody must be tranquil. In my position the most important thing is the serenity, and especially  taking in mind that we are playing important things in the game against Sevilla."

Joan Capdevila also emphasised the importance of the three points: "In order to be in Europe, we have to win the matches that we still have to play at home, and tomorrow's game will be a nice test, because if we obtain the victory, we will be fully involved in the fight."

Coach Juande Ramos is facing the most important period of the present season. His team will face Barcelona on the next week and also the semi-finals in the UEFA cup against Schalke 04 are near to be played. For that reason he has been trying to maintain the concentration of his men. The absences in Sevilla are Freddy Kanout?©, Puerta, Jordi L??pez and Dragutinovic. All these cases for injury reasons.

Despite of the crucial week ahead Juande Ramos has called all the men available in his team, a list that includes the Argentinean striker Javier Saviola who will probably start in tomorrow’s game. Ramos has also called Manuel Blanco and Alejandro Alfaro from Sevilla B. The main novelty will be the presence of Fernando Sales as starter, he will replace Kanout?© in the offensive sector.

Deportivo: Dani Mallo - H?©ctor, C?©sar, Juanma, Capdevila - V?ctor, Sergio, Duscher, Munitis - Iago, Arizmendi.
