Lotina travels to Majorca with the ‘usual’ long list of casualties; on this opportunity he will miss Morel, Juca and Ze Castro, the latest trio that has joined the injury room. However, the Basque man will be able to repeat the lineup that faced Levante.

Deportivo will repeat the lineup used against UD Levante for the upcoming clash against RCD Mallorca; it is the first conclusion from Friday’s training session at Abegondo. The players completed a series of exercises during the first part of the training, and later coach Miguel Ángel Lotina tested the formation for the upcoming visit to the Iberostar Stadi (former Ono Stadi).

And it wasn’t a surprise as the Basque man tested exactly the same 5-2-2-1 squad that clinched the second straight win in liga during last Sunday’s game in Levante; with Aranzubia at the goal, Manuel Pablo at the right-back position, Diego Seoane on the left, Diego Colotto, Aythami Artiles and Albert Lopo at the centre of the defense, Juan Rodriguez and Ruben Pérez at midfield, Saul and Adrian in both playmaker’s roles and Riki upfront.

On Friday it was also known that Claudio Morel will be off for the coming days, this since the Paraguayan is dragging problems from the ankle sprain suffered against Real Madrid. He is the latest player that joins the list of casualties after Ze Castro (Muscular) and Juca (thigh) had to be replaced in the past game with Osasuna for Copa Del Rey.

The casualties of Morel and Ze Castro are important since Lotina already was missing Laure and Rindarøy, therefore he doesn’t have any defender available for the bench, for this reason he will have to call, once again, David Rochela from Deportivo B. Still, the coach could be forced to pick an additional defender from Fabril since he will need a replacement for the side defenders, the most probable election is Raul Garcia, who already debuted with the first team on the past season.

Other choice could be Yves Desmarets, the French has played as a winger and as a playmaker during this season, but in his previous stage in Portugal he was also used as a left-back defender. The doubt will be clarified on Saturday as the coach will release the list of picked players after the last training before the match (Abegondo, 10h30 CET). Meanwhile, Míchel, Urreta, Antonio Tomás and Guardado have continued with their recovery process, though for the moment only Antonio Tomás seems close to join the normal trainings.

Rubén Pérez talked at the press room of Abegondo and commented the fact that he is the player with more minutes on the season, “The other day someone told this, but neither I see myself as a starter or an indisputable player at n the formations. I just think of the poor Juca, who works hard and remains out. For me the important thing is to have continuity and still have to learn. I always remember that I am coming from Segunda B. “

At Mallorca, coach Laudrup still doesn’t know if he will be able to count with Gonzalo 'Chori' Castro , the Uruguayan winger has missed the last two games due to a Soleus injury and he is an important piece in the scheme as he has scored twice in liga.

Like the case of Lotina, Ladrup rested several of his normal starters for the Copa clash against Sporting Gijón (2-2), more specifically just four players repeated their participation in the game compared to the squad that lost at Zaragoza (2-3): right-back Pablo Céndros, midfielder Joao Victor, plus strikers Pierre Webo and Emile Nsue, to mention that this last one scored the two goals against Sporting that gave the pass to the next round in Copa. The coach even left some starters like Aouate, Ramis and Víctor in Majorca in order to rest them.
