Lotina will miss the presence of Riki, Guardado, Michel, Morel and Saul for the clash at La Romareda. At Zaragoza, coach Aguirre could be repeating the lineup that defeated UD Levante during the past week.

Striker Riki and left winger Andrťs Guardado joined the training sessions on Thursday and their return is closer to occur; on this season the duo has been struck by several muscular injuries and they have spent more time out than inside the pitch.

However, both players wonít be picked for the game against Real Zaragoza (Sunday, 17h00 CET), because the doctors donít want more relapses; Lotina was opening a door for the reappearance of the Madrilenian, as he explained to reporters after the elimination in Copa Del Rey, ďLetís see if Riki is able to have some minutes in Zaragoza, because his evolution was positive. But the case of Andres Guardado is more delayed.Ē

But in the end both players will have to wait until the game against Sevilla FC. The return of Riki was exactly what Lotina was needing for, because the other two strikers at the first team have been playing two matches per week during the whole month; Lotina fears a relapse of Lassad Nouioui after the hamstring problems that he suffered on past seasons, and actually the Tunisian ended the Copa clash with Almeria with a knock on the knee, similar is the case of Adrian, who just performed for 40 minutes on Wednesdayís game at the Riazor.

And itís that, against Almeria, Deporís coach decided to pick Dioni from Fabril and Iago Beceiro from Juvenil A in order to oxygenate his attacking line, now Dioni could be the needed third option against the Aragonians.

Lotina is also welcoming the return of central defenders Albert Lopo, Diego Colotto,, plus midfielders Juan Rodriguez and Juan Dominguez. Lopo and Juan Rodriguez werenít picked for the clash with Almeria, while Colotto and Dominguez spent the whole ninety minutes sat on the bench, so the quartet is fresh enough to face Zaragoza. Other positive news is that playmaker Michel will receive the okay of the doctors on Monday, which means that the Valencian will be available for the next match against Sevilla.

The bad news is to realize that left-back defender Claudio Morel and right winger Saul Fernandez are not recovered yet from their injuries. The Paraguayan suffered a quadriceps injury in the Copa game with Cůrdoba and still working apart from the team, same thing for Saul, who is out with a knock on the knee since the liga match against Barcelona FC. The duo is already discarded for the visit to La Romareda.

On Friday the team had a video session that lasted forty minutes and later the players completed a series of physical exercises, therefore Lotina didnít test any lineup. He just gave several explanations to Juan Rodriguez and Juan Dominguez, which should indicate that both will be starters on Sundayís match.

At Zaragoza, thereís a light of hope despite the endless financial problems of the Aragonian club, new coach Javier Aguirre is desperately waiting for new signings, but thereís no money to negotiate the arrivals and actually there are big problems with the players that currently are at the squad as they havenít been paid within the last three months.

There was even commented that the players were menacing with a strike for the past game with Levante, but the captains at the team denied it and accused the newspapers of been spreading false rumours, reason why they are not giving comments since Wednesday. Besides, Aguirre has been training behind closed doors in order to avoid more conflicts and have more tranquility to prepare a game thatís crucial for them.

And itís that a new victory will put them out of relegation for the first time in four months, enough reason to motivate a squad that has suffered a lot during this season. For the game against Depor there are no fresh injuries or suspensions, and it is speculated that Aguirre will present the same lineup that defeated Levante on the past weekend, to mention that Zaragoza doesnít repeat the same lineup in two straight liga matches since October of 2009.  The lineup expected against Depor is a 4-2-3-1 figure: Leo Franco - Diogo, Jarosik, Contini, Paredes - Ponzio, Gabi - Ander; Boutahar, Lafita - Sinama Pongolle
