Lotina is recovering all the players that were injured or doubtful and is only losing Desmarets, who is dragging a knee problem. RCD Mallorca is also only having one casualty for the match.

There will be football on the weekend and coach Miguel Ángel Lotina is practically recovering all his injury players for the clash against RCD Mallorca (Sunday, Riazor, 17h00 CET), match that’s considered vital in the quest for the permanence, mainly after Deportivo lost at home against Levante UD.

Xisco (groin), Valerón (hamstring), Riki and Morel (both adductor) are already recovered and training since Monday and in some cases since the past week. Meanwhile, Rubén Pérez (hamstring) and Laure (muscular) have been training apart during this week, but it was only a precaution measure and is accepted that both players will be fit to play on Sunday.

The only player dragging a physical problem at this point of the week is Yves Desmarets, the French winger was feeling something on his right knee and didn’t take part of Monday’s session. On Tuesday the scans determined that the winger suffers from Chondropathy, which means damage on the cartilage region of the knee.

It isn’t a serious problem preventing the player to normally perform on the pitch, but what happens is that a damaged cartilage can’t be healed and therefore the injury needs precaution and therapy. The player will be in treatment within the next days, but will surely miss the clash against Mallorca. The doctors expect that Desmarets could return to train on next week.

Meanwhile, Andrés Guardado played, late on Tuesday, 45 minutes during the 1-1 draw between Mexico and Venezuela; the arrival of the winger is expected for this day and it has been reported that he is fine. Adrian, who played on Monday for 60 minutes with the U-20 team of Spain during the 1-1 draw with Belarus, already joined the trainings on Wednesday.

Also, the club wants to repeat the same attendance saw in the past match with Levante, for this reason it is repeating the same list of ticket prices, while it’s also keeping the promotion of offering two additional tickers to every socio for the price of five Euros.

At RCD Mallorca, coach Michael Laudrup is only having the casualty of midfielder Jonathan De Guzmán, who is suspended after picking his fifth yellow card of the season during the 1-0 win over Real Zaragoza. Also, Israeli Dudu Aouate and Cameroonian Pierre Webó will join the trainings on Thursday after playing with their national teams.

The Majorcans have made a decent season at Primera División, they are living a placid situation as they just need four more points to clinch the permanence, and actually they still have European aspirations as the sixth place at the standings is just four points above them.
