During the announcement of Iago's extension, president Lendoiro said that he will have a meeting with Caparr??s in the short-term, a reunion that will be the first stone in next season planning. Several rumours have arrived to the media including new names of possible incorporations.

Currently Deportivo has 28 players in the first squad: Mun??a, Molina, Dani Mallo, Manuel Pablo, H?©ctor, C?©sar, Andrade, Coloccini, Juanma, Romero, Capdevila, De Guzm??n, Duscher, Sergio, Valer??n, 'Toro' Acu?±a, Jes??s Mu?±oz, Munitis, V?ctor, Gallardo, Momo, R??ben, Trist??n, Arzimendi, Taborda, Changui, Pablo Amo and Scaloni.

From this list six are ending contract in June (C?©sar, V?ctor, Molina, Dani Mallo, Jes??s Mu?±oz and Romero), meaning that the club will have 22 men contracted for the next season. According to sportpaper Marca, Caparr??s wants to keep only 12 of this 22 players plus goalkeeper Molina. The same source claims once again that Deportivo already signed Albert Lopo, Juan Rodr?guez and Pablo ?lvarez.

This situation will mean that Lendoiro needs to find a destiny for ten of his current players, one of the decisions that Caparr??s and Depor's president must take is to establish how many reinforcements will be reacquired to complete the squad. Caparr??s only counts with 13 players of the current team.

Another thing to remember is that Iago and Iv??n Carril will probably join the first squad for the next season. Although that Iago signed an amateur contract yesterday, the old one stipulates that if Iago plays 16 more minutes on this season, he will join the first squad for the next campaign, Iv??n Carril is living a similar situation and all appoints that both youngsters will fulfil the clause.

In this sense, Caparr??s will have 18 players including the incorporations of Lopo, ?lvarez, Rodr?guez plus Carril and Iago. It's speculated that the Sevillan coach will ask at least four more signings in order to close his squad for the next season, once again it's expected that Caparr??s will ask for two or three empty spots in order to have an available space to promote Fabril's youngsters, meaning that he wants 22 or 23 players in the first squad.

The last name that has been linked with Deportivo is  Juan Francisco Mart?nez Modesto 'Nino' (25). He is a striker wanted by Caparr??s and that's currently playing in Elche. Nino has scored 12 goals in 35 matches during the present Segunda season. In four years with Elche he has scored 55 goals in 153 matches. Sportpapers Marca and AS have informed that Depor's officials showed interest in him.

The same Nino recognised that his agents talked with him about the possibility of joining Deportivo: "Before to the game against Castilla, they talked with me about the interest that some teams  have on me. It's a good thing to know that a great club like Depor is thinking in me for the next year, all the players want to perform in Primera. I hope that it could be with Elche, but this team is always fighting to avoid the relegation."

Meanwhile, In England Rafa Ben?tez admitted that Deportivo still interested in Mark Gonz??lez, a fact that he confessed to the paper The Guardian: "Three or four Spanish clubs (Deportivo, Real Sociedad, Betis and Zaragoza) have asked me about him when I was in Madrid, because he's playing really well in Real Sociedad.â€? The problem with the Chilean international is that he can’t play with Benitez’s team, because he wasn't able to obtain a work permission in England, he still has to wait for at least six months in order to have the permission, meaning that Liverpool would be forced to send him on a new loan spell or even to sell him for the next season.
