Lotina still waiting for Laure, but the Basque man already knows that Riki and Juan Rodriguez will miss Sundayís match. Meanwhile, Racing is arriving with three casualties at its squad.

After two weeks without fresh injuries, the ghost of the physical problems is again striking Deportivo, because on Wednesday Riki felt some pain on his left thigh at the start of the training session, immediately he left the training pitch. At the beginning it was commented that the problem was an adductor injury, but with the pass of the hours the Madrilenian attacker started to feel the pain on the hip, reason why further scans were scheduled for Thursday.

By the moment of publishing this article the results of the scans hadnít been revealed, but the media in La CoruŮa is convinced that the player wonít take part of Sundayís match against Racing Santander (Riazor, 17h00 CET), mainly because it is the fifth time in which the ex-Getafe man is sidelined for the normal competition after sustaining a physical problem, and for this reason the doctors wonít risk him.

At the same time, Lotina is still waiting to know if Laureano Sanabria īLaureī will be available for the game; the Madrilenian side defender was sent off in the past match with Malaga and the competition committee suspended him for one match; on Monday the club appealed the decision and it was rejected on Thursday, but the club is appealing again, this time before the CEDD (Spanish Committee of Sporting Discipline). This instance has the last word and a final resolution is expected for this Friday.

But the Basque coach already knows that he will be unable to count with Juan Rodriguez, who picked his fifth yellow card of the season during the visit to La Rosaleda. The Andalusian midfielder has played in 26 of the 31 matches played in la liga competition.

Also, there was a high expectation in La CoruŮa after the club announced that on Thursday the team was going to train behind closed doors at the Riazor, however Lotina didnít test any specific lineup during the session, instead the players completed a series of physical and tactical exercises, plus a training match. Taking in mind that on Friday the team will only complete a massage session, then the coach will end deciding the starting eleven until Saturday or, as it happened in the past game at Malaga, on the same day of the match.

At Racing Santander, the attention has been focused in whatís happening outside the pitch, because eleven players at the first team are still waiting to receive part of their wages for the past season, while the office employees of the club are still waiting for the payments that correspond to March. The new owner of the club, Ahsan Ali Syed, promised to solve the issue on the past week, but so far he hasnít fulfilled his word.

About the status of the team, coach Marcelino Toral has received mixed news within the last days; the best news is that the Asturian trainer is welcoming back Markus Rosenberg, the Swedish striker is the current Pichichi at the team with six goals scored and has missed the last two games due to a knee injury, but he was already training by Wednesday.

However, striker Kennedy BakircioglŁ will miss the clash against Depor after suffering a knock (Achilles) in the last game with Levante. The former Ajax attacker has scored three goals on the liga campaign and is the sixth player at the team with more minutes in the competition (2,170). He tried to join the trainings on Wednesday, but was unable to complete the session, and the latest scans determined that he suffers a tendonitis, a problem that will keep him at bay for the next two weeks.

The big doubt right now is Mexican playmaker Giovani Dos Santos (hip), who ended the match with Levante with a knock. He didnít train on Thursday and it isnít known if he will be fit to play against Depor. Other two doubts for the game are midfielder Manuel Arana (ankle sprain) and defender Francis (knee), the duo missed the game at Levante and by Thursday it wasnít clear if both men will be available for the meeting with Depor. Meanwhile, striker IvŠn Bolado (knee) also suffered a knock in the last game in liga, but he was already training by Wednesday.

There are more casualties at the Cantabrian team, Greek midfielder Alexandros Tziolis has been out for the past six months due to a tibia fracture, he is already recovered, but it isnít probable that Marcelino will pick him for the game at the Riazor, while winger ”scar Serrano (knee ligaments) is out for the rest of the season.
