Deportivo is the club with more injury cases in this start of season; so far the Galicians accumulate sixteen injury cases, the biggest number among the Primera and the Segunda División clubs.

It has been a hard start of season for Deportivo in terms of injuries; the Galician club already suffered sixteen injury cases within the first four matchdays on the Segunda season. It’s the highest number among the forty-two clubs at Primera and Segunda División.

Other Segunda clubs hit by the injuries are Elche (12), Las Palmas (11) and Real Murcia (11), while the club will less cases so far is UD Almeria (1). At Primera the most affected team is RCD Espanyol, which already suffered nine cases in this start of season, the last one is former Depor playmaker Joan Verdú, who suffered a muscular injury on the weekend (quadriceps)

At least the cases of Deportivo are short-term cases, with the exception of Bruno Gama, who might even end at the operation room if his groin injury doesn’t heal soon. At other clubs the cases are more serious, like the situation at RCD Espanyol, club that has the long-term injuries of defender Felipe Mattioni (knee) and winger Juan Albín (stress fracture).

The negative thing is that this situation will continue, at least for the upcoming meeting against AD Alcorcón, because coach Oltra will at least have five casualties for injury reasons: Bruno Gama, Manuel Pablo, Riki, Pablo Álvarez and Saúl.

And there could be more cases as Xisco, Salomão and Borja Fernandez are doubtful for the clash in Madrid, which could raise the number of casualties to eight; a record on the season after the seven casualties had for the past meeting with Sabadell.
