Once again coach Oltra is having big problems in order to prepare the lineup; the Valencian man will miss eight players and is forced to make changes after suffering two expulsions on the past week.

Coach José Luis Oltra is still having big problems in order to build up a competitive lineup; if in the past two liga meetings he was missing up to seven players, now he will miss eight men. Six of them are out injured, while two are suspended after been sent off in the disaster match at AD Alcorcón.

The only player coming out from the injury room is striker Xisco; he has finally surpassed the adductor injury that kept him at bay within the last three weeks; the Majorcan is training at the top since Monday and will be available for Saturday’s match at the Riazor (16h00 CET). It’s expected that he will be the alternative on the bench to Lassad Nouioui.

Xisco confirmed it during a press conference held on Wednesday, “I am fine, and unless a big surprise, I will be available for Saturday. I hope to be at the top and help the team in everything I can.” He said.

It was also expected that Riki could be available for this game, but the doctors fear a new relapse and don’t want to hurry up the things. For this reason the Madrilenian attacker will not receive the medical okay until next week, which seems prudent taking in mind that on next week Deportivo has to play three matches in a matter of seven days (two in liga and one in Copa Del Rey).

Another player that’s close to return is right winger Saul Fernandez; the Asturian is surpassing a hamstring strain injury and should be joining the regular trainings on next week. But the other four players at the injury room are not expected in the short-term: Bruno Gama (groin), Manuel Pablo (hamstring, Pablo Álvarez (nose fracture/hamstring) and Borja Fernandez (groin).

Claudio Morel didn’t end Wednesday’s training session after picking a muscular problem, but the scans indicated that he is fine, therefore the Paraguayan man will be sat on the bench for the match against Guadalajara.

However there are other problems at defense as central defender Diego Colotto and right-back Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’ are suspended after been sent off against Alcorcón. For this reason Oltra is forced to make changes at the lineup for the first time in three weeks.

Since both Manuel Pablo and Laure are out, the Valencian coach will have to rely on Diego Seoane, player that was discarded during the pre-season and that now has the responsibility of been a starter. Meanwhile, all appoints that the spot of Colotto will be for Portuguese Ze Castro. No more changes are expected as Oltra barely has eighteen players in order to fill the gaps

The rival for the meeting is CD Guadalajara, club that’s just completing its first year at Segunda and that’s the surprising leader at Liga Adelante. For now the only confirmed casualty at the team coached by Carlos Terrazas is striker Joseba Arriaga, who picked a hamstring strain injury that will sideline him until the end of October.
