Oltra and the players are feeling relieved after clinching a victory that washed away the poor presentation in Alcorcón. Lendoiro was even comparing Valerón with Zidane.

Coach José Luis Oltra was commenting the match, “It was a complete and at the same time calmed game for us; we had heart and effectiveness, but in a corner-kick, and with the 1-0 in the scoresheet, they almost equalized the game. Anyway we watched the team that we wanted to see; the team had punch and made a very complete first half, and in the second we swam and enjoyed been together; we talked before of the challenge of achieving a clean sheet and we did it.”

“I still think that we can improve, but this is the path to follow. In the second half we lost the ball possession, though we had some long possessions, but missed intensity. We must understand that the effort was big and the heat was killing us, besides we are missing a lot of players, as example today Ze Castro and Guardado asked for the substitution, and in that sense we haven’t changed.”

The Valencian coach wasn’t giving importance to the two faces showed by Depor within the last two matches, “Before today’s game we all were pretty bad, tomorrow it will be different, and it seems that the comments are according to the result. We must have a balance, last week we did a bad job and it was necessary to say it. We must go step by step, a bad or a good game can’t mark a season; we weren’t stuck before and neither are already promoted now. We can defeat anyone, but also any team can beat us.”

Left-back Ayoze Diaz offered a solid presentation in this game; he was pretty happy with the performance of the team in all the lines, “We are happy as the team made a good job; we achieved a clean sheet and besides we scored four goals.”

Midfielder Jesús Vázquez was feeling relieved after the setback in Alcorcón, “It was important to achieve the win and convince the fans. It has been the most complete match of the season, both in offense and defense. This must be the path to follow.”

The hero of the game was Juan Carlos Valerón as he offered a marvelous presentation materialized with three assists; he was saying that, “This is football; the other day we were hurt by the defeat and today we are pretty happy. The true is that the first goal was tranquilizing.”

“The team knew how to react after a tough defeat, now we faced the match with braveness and a daring mentality. I believe that if we can do the right things, then we have big possibilities of achieve the victory.” El Flaco added.

Álex Bergantiños was pretty surprised with his two goals scored, “It is the first time that I score two goals since I played at Juveniles. The game was the opposite of the one played on the past week; the true is that we had more intensity, but it’s always easier when you have Valerón at your side.”

“The defenders were playing more opened and the team knew how to manage the output of the ball; now we must have continuity with our game and not only when we are winning. The midfielders were also fine; together with Jesús Vázquez we have more freedom and we have the passes of Valerón to support us.”

President Augusto César Lendoiro was enchanted with the performance of Valerón, “Valerón is above of Zidane; he was younger and don’t even talk of the economic differences, but he is also a quality player. The point is that he was at Deportivo and only needed to be Galician. He has demonstrated to be a great player, and his quality passes are only at the reach of a few footballers, both at Primera or Segunda.”

About the conflict with Vecindario and the coaching license of Oltra, the president said that, “It doesn’t depend on us; it depends on the Football Federation and the courts. We must have patience. We don’t know when they will gather again, we all know how things are with the courts, in others things they take faster decisions.”

At Guadalajara, coach Carlos Terrazas was commenting the actions on the game, “The match was marked by the start; the first fifteen minutes have marked the game; we went out for the victory, but they surprised us with the counterattack and their players are dangerous if you give them enough space. We were losing the ball and Deportivo is more dangerous in this way.”

“It was the opposite of what happened against Alcorcón; we talked about it; that it was a dangerous visit, but we also failed on it. We lost our first game and it was a burden, because we had the label of undefeated team. We now have eleven points and it is an important mark for us at this moment of the season.” He added.
