Despite the disappointment of the fans, coach Oltra was content because his team clinched a point and a clean sheet in this match; same was the feeling of Álex. The coach of Murcia was talking of the best game on the season.

Coach José Luis Oltra was trying to be optimistic with the final result, “We achieved a draw against a rival that was arriving after several weeks without losing, they were intense and were tightening the things. At least we achieved a clean sheet, and that’s already something for me; it’s something positive, besides the result. It might not be tasty, but when you can’t win then its good not to lose.”
“We can say that the result was good considering what we saw; the team was solid at defense, but missed more precision in the road to the goal. We had the ball possession during big part of the encounter, but missed aim and depth. In the last stretch of the game we didn’t make good decisions in the counterattacks and I believe that both sides could have won the game within the last minutes.” He added.

Oltra was asked if he was thinking that Aranzubia was a determinant factor in the game, and he answered, “I don’t think he was; he just did what he had to do. He’s the best keeper in the league and is among the five best keepers at Primera. He fulfilled his duties, as the defenders did it too, also the midfielders at the moment of giving their aids.”

Álex Bergantiños was the only player that talked to reporters, the Galician midfielder was also trying to be optimistic with the final result, “We achieved a point against a rival that was living a good moment and it was an equal match, but we missed clarity with the last pass, that’s why I think the draw is a fair result.”

“Murcia is a good team; they played with two strikers up front and sometimes they won our backs, but the true is that they didn’t have too many options. Now we think of the derby with Celta knowing that it’s going to be a different match.”  He added.

At Murcia, coach Iñaki Alonso was talking of the best game made by Murcia on this season, “I want to emphasize the great game made by the whole team. Sincerely, I believe it was a game in which we deserved to defeat Deportivo La Coruña. There are positive aspects that must help us to gain more confidence. In front we had a Deportivo that was surpassed in intensity and also in the will to win the game. In the first half we lost the ball possession, but in the second we recovered the good feeling and things were under our control.”
