Oltra is preparing the match with almost all his squad available; for Saturday he will only have the casualties of Manuel Pablo and Bodipo. The rival is also arriving to the meeting with only two casualties at its squad.

For the match against CD Guadalajara (Saturday, 19h00 CET, Pedro Escartín stadium), coach José Luis Oltra is welcoming back left winger Andrés Guardado and striker Lassad Nouioui, both were left out of the past game against AD Alcorcón as they arrived late from international action, but now they are fresh and ready to play.

Right winger Pablo Álvarez is finally back too, he missed the last month of action due to a grade-one muscular injury on his right thigh, but on Tuesday he joined the training sessions and is now available for the Valencian coach.

Central defender Ze Castro was in doubt after picking a hip problem during the last match played at the Riazor, the Portuguese player was working apart from the group on Tuesday, but he joined the rest of the players on Wednesday and has been declared fit to play.

Left-back Claudio Morel suffered a leg knock during the last training session, but he should be available for Saturday. Goalkeeper Dani Aranzubia didn’t end Wednesday’s session, it wasn’t for physical problems, but because his wife was giving birth to his second child.

Therefore, the only casualties that Oltra is having for Saturday’s meeting are right-back Manuel Pablo and striker Rodolfo Bodipo. The Canarian is about to rejoin the training after been dragging a Soleus injury, but he won’t have the medical okay for this weekend, in the case of the African striker he is expected to return from a heel problem until the end of the month.

After Wednesday’s training session the players enjoyed a barbecue at Abegondo

The rival for the occasion, CD Guadalajara, is coming after a refreshing victory visiting FC Cartagena (2-0), but can’t relax as it has lost eight of the last ten matches in the competition, reason why they are only six points above the pit at this point.

Coach Carlos Terrazas is welcoming back striker José Antonio Collado after serving a two-match suspension.  Collado is the usual partner of Anibal in attack, both strikers combined have scored ten goals on the Segunda season. Defender David Fernández is doubtful with a back problem, but doctors expect that he could be fit for Friday.

The only confirmed casualties for the meeting with Deportivo are defender Jorge Juan Martínez and striker Ryam Harper. Jorge is the captain of the team and is dragging an ankle sprain from the match before Villarreal B; he started to work on the pitch during Wednesday’s session, but won’t receive the medical okay before Saturday. Meanwhile, Scottish Harper has been out for the past four months after a knee surgery.

Only 650 Km. are separating A Coruña from Guadalajara, so the club has planned a six-hour trip in bus for the squad, and the fans are also planning a massive trip in order to support Deportivo, actually 1,300 Depor’s fans are expected to attend to the Pedro Escartín, which means the 20% of the stadium’s capacity.
