Today, Ze Castro will undergo a late test in order to know if he’s fit to play against Almeria; Aythami s already discarded, so Rochela might end playing as a starter, the rest should be the same lineup of the past week.

Oltra still pending if Ze Castro will be fit to play on Saturday; the Portuguese central defender is dragging an ankle sprain and hasn’t trained on this week, but on Thursday the Valencian coach told to reporters that he’s optimistic on the recovery of the player before the clash against Almeria. The defender will undergo a late test on Friday in order to determine if he will be included in the list of picked players.

Who is already discarded for the game is Aythami Artiles, the Canarian hasn’t surpassed the muscular injury that has kept him at bay for the past two weeks and won’t be picked for Saturday’s clash. So, David Rochela could have his first chance as a starter on this liga season; if Ze Castro stays out of the game, then Oltra will only have two central defenders for the game.

The rest of the lineup should be the same one that defeated Elche at the Riazor; with Dani Aranzubia at the goal, Laure should be performing at the right-back position, Morel is ready to play at the left sector of the defense despite having some muscular problems during the week, while Diego Colotto is waiting to know who will be his partner at the centre.

Juan Dominguez and Álex Bergantiños will be the two pivotes in the formation; Dominguez has been a refreshing surprise at midfield during this season and his contribution in attack has been interesting: three goals scored plus six assists. Meanwhile, Álex is the lung at midfield, currently he is ninth at Liga Adelante in terms of successful passes (1,408), curiously he has completed more passes than Juan Carlos Valerón (1,393), who will continue to perform as the playmaker in the scheme.

Bruno Gama will be attacking from the right wing, while Andrés Guardado will do it from the left, and Lassad Nouioui should be the central attacker. The Tunisian didn’t appear too much against Elche, but will try to repeat his performance of the first round match against Almeria, game in which scored a goal.
