Mixed feelings after the draw in liga; the players were unhappy as Deportivo dropped two points, but at the same time they recognized that Valladolid deserved it. Oltra thinks that the point is very positive for the aspirations of the club.

Coach José Luis Oltra discussed with the assistant at the end of the game, because he thought that four minutes of stoppage time was too much, later he said in the press-conference after the game that, “When the victory seemed closer they scored the equalizer at the end, but we have also tied or won games at the last minutes. What I don’t understand is why four minutes of stoppage time, though it’s something circumstantial.”

“The second part was based in been an ordered team and also in our capacity to know how to suffer. It was hard for us to have the ball possession. The rival attacked and we faced problems to attack, though we had a couple of opportunities; and just when we seemed to have things under control, they scored the equalizer. The rival was closer to achieve the victory and it would have been fair.” The Valencian coach added.

Later he was valorizing the point added facing a tough opponent and having a five-point gap over the second place, “We are keeping the same distance with the second place, and having ones less game to play. The third spot has reduced the distance, but we still have a margin; we depend in ourselves and we are competing at the top. The true is that the point is more important for Deportivo than for Valladolid.”

Finally, Oltra said that he thinks that the injury sustained by Guardado wasn’t a serious case, “It isn’t something to fear; it was a modification made for precaution reasons. Perhaps some players were exhausted, but the team will be fine in the final part of the season. We must remember that there were several players at the starting eleven that weren’t used to be starters.”

Left-back Ayoze Diaz entered for the final minutes replacing Guardado; he said after the game that, “We were fine until the ‘pin-pan’ play that caused the equalizer. They had the ball possession, but didn't create scoring chances. We were fine though were unable to release the counterattack. They scored in the last play and that's it. We must keep smiling.”

Saul Fernandez was also commenting the match, “The 1-1 was fair, but it has a bittersweet taste, because we had the victory in our hands. But the distance with the second place is the same and with one less game to play. I was feeling tired, because it was a long time since the last time I played, but in the second half I felt better.”

Central midfielder Juan Dominguez was reminding that Deportivo is having a positive scenario towards the promotion, “It’s screwing to allow a goal at the last minute, but you must admit that they had the ball possession, and it wasn't unfair to see them scoring the goal, although it was at the last minute. We must be cold-minded and realize that our current situation is favourable. We must feel motivated as the season is ending.”

Similar were the thoughts of his team mate at midfield territory, Álex Bergantiños, “It was a pity. They had several chances to score, and it was sad to see them scoring at the last minute. But we must remain calmed and thinking in going game by game, we must now focus on the meeting in Soria.”

Central defender David Rochela was going to be a starter, but a last minute problem kept him out of the game; he was explaining the situation, “I had a problem on the hamstring muscle; I didn't have good feeling and we preferred to stop. Things didn't work, but we were fine in a physical sense. It's hard to allow a goal at the last minute after been winning for so long, but we must realize that the result was good. We still depending in ourselves, we are where we wanted.”

Borja Fernandez had to perform as the improvised central defender; he commented that, “It was my first professional match as a central defender and it worked out. The 1-1 was a pity, but they deserved it. A half a minute and we would have been one step closer to Primera. I heard the public protesting because the referee added four minutes, and I think it was too much; I don’t remember that we wasted so many time.”

Striker Xisco entered for the second part; he wrote on his Twitter account that, “Than you very much for the support, it’s incredible to see the Riazor filled match after match. We are fortunate and we’re proud of these fans, a pity that we dropped the three points at the end, we will achieve it.”

President Augusto César Lendoiro was also seeing with good eyes the point added in the game, “The draw is fair, because we were facing a super Valladolid. They played well, so we did and we could have scored the second goal before, but the goal came at the end. Still, I prefer to be where we are standing right now and not where others are.”

At Valladolid, coach Miroslav Djukic was talking of the best game on the season for his team, “It would have been unfair to walk away of this game without carrying this point, though it arrived at the end. The true is that I´m very happy. We played against the leader, a great team, and showing a great personality. Perhaps we have completed our best match on the season.”

“I´m satisfied for the mentality of the team. It’s always complicated to play on here. This result reinforces us before the next matchdays. Deportivo is a great team. Its main characteristic is that it can defeat you with or without having the ball possession. There were games in which they didn’t play well, but they carried away with the matches thanks to the counterattack. You always assume risks attacking a rival like this, with the quality of their players. We played almost the entire second part in their side of the pitch. There was no other way.” The Serbian coach added.
