The vacation period is over; Deportivo kick offs the season 2012/13 with three stages in Galicia and eight friendly matches. For now coach Oltra, who begins his second season at the club, is only having twenty players at the first team.

The season 2012/13 is about to begin for Deportivo La Coruña; the first team starts to train on Tuesday and the pre-season will have three stages. The first will be a week of trainings at Abegondo. Then, between July 16 and 22, the team will be concentrated at Hotel Attica 21 in Vilalba.

During this second stage Depor will dispute the first two friendly matches on the pre-season, later the group will return to train at Abegondo and will alternate the training sessions with the last six games, including the Teresa Herrera against Atletico Madrid.

There are five players that already started to work before the official return. Left winger Diogo Salomão begun to work on Thursday, one day later right winger Bruno Gama and right-back Laure joined him. On Saturday centre midfielder Jesús Vázquez started to train and the last main that joined the group was centre back Ze Castro (Sunday).

In past years it was normal to see Depor beginning a pre-season stage with thirty or more players at the first team, now José Luis Oltra is launching his second season at the club with only twenty men available. The club still trying to sign four or six new arrivals, while it hasn’t defined yet the possible exit of the players that will be loaned to other clubs. Oltra also announced that three players from Fabril will be making the pre-season with the first team, but so far no names have been revealed.

Goalkeepers: Aranzubia and Lux
Defenders: Manuel Pablo, Laure, Seoane, Ze Castro, Aythami, Rochela and Ayoze
Midfielders: Juan Domínguez, Álex Bergantiños, Jesús Vázquez, André Santos, Saúl, Bruno Gama, Salomão, Valerón and Juan Carlos
Strikers: Riki and Bodipo
