It’s highly probable that Oltra is going to repeat the lineup of the Teresa Herrera for the debut in liga against Osasuna. There are four changes compared to the fixed formation that the Valencian coach had for the end of the past Segunda tournament.

Deportivo debuts on Monday in the new Primera season and it seems that Oltra is going to repeat the same lineup used for the Teresa Herrera. Throughout the pre-season there was the concern that the Valencian coach preferred to distribute the minutes among the players instead of finding the proper starting eleven, but the positive feelings after the clash with Atletico Madrid are pointing to this 4-2-3-1 formation as the one for the debut in la Liga.

Daniel Aranzubia should be defending the goal, the injury of Laure is leaving Manuel Pablo as the main choice for the right-back position, Evaldo would probably debut at Primera performing at the left side of the defense.

Ze Castro is already back on trainings, but it’s too soon for him and won’t be picked for Monday’s clash, therefore Carlos Marchena is the main candidate to join Aythami Artiles at the centre of the defense.

The biggest doubts are at midfield, Juan Dominguez and Abel Aguilar were the starters against Atletico, but André Santos is pushing for a starting spot, without forgetting that Álex Bergantiños was the only player that performed in all the 42 matchdays of the past Segunda campaign.

Bruno Gama is now one of the main references in attack, he should be attacking from the right wing, his compatriot Pizzi is taking the spot at the left as Diogo Salomão remains injured. Valerón will probably continue at the playmaker’s role, while Riki will show up at the centre of the attack. Nélson Oliveira was praised by the Portuguese media after scoring for his national team, but for now he will be waiting for an opportunity on the bench.
