Oltra could name an unchanged team for the visit to Valencia CF; he has the same three casualties of the past week and targets to score at least two goals in order to win the game. The main doubt is who will be the starting striker.

Depor visits Mestalla on Sunday and it does with the same twenty-two men that were available on the past week. The players ruled out of the game are Diogo Salomão (groin), right-back Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’ (shoulder dislocation) and centre back Ze Castro (match fitness).

Salomão completed part of Friday’s training session and he could join the group on next week. Centre back Roderick Miranda is dragging a Patellar ligament problem, but the defender should be fit to play for the visit to Mestalla.

It’s expected that Oltra will put over the grass the same starting eleven that defeated CA Osasuna at the Riazor, with Dani Aranzubia defending the goal; Manuel Pablo should be playing at the right-back position and Evaldo covering the left side. Carlos Marchena returns to Mestalla and would be joined byAythami Artiles at the central positions.

Abel Aguilar should be playing at midfield, with Juan Dominguez as his companion trying to direct the traffic of the ball. Lendoiro revealed on Thursday that Jesús Vázquez is at the door out, so André Santos and Álex Bergantiños are the two alternatives in case that Oltra decides to make a change.

Juan Carlos Valerón will be the playmaker in the formation. El Flaco is completing his match number 297 wearing the Blanquiazul shirt. Pizzi left a positive impression in the opening match against Osasuna and he should stay at the left wing, his compatriot Bruno Gama should be attacking from the right wing.

Riki is the main candidate to lead the attacking line, but Nélson Oliveira has his options for the job after his impressive ten minutes in the past game at the Riazor. Oltra said on Friday that Deportivo needs a goal in order to pick up a draw at Mestalla and at least two to win the match, so he could end making a modification at the centre of the attack.
