Only Manuel Pablo is out ahead of the visit to Vallecas after suffering an injury in the previous game against Real Madrid; the rival is facing the game after clinching three straight defeats, but they don’t have any injury concern for the clash.

Deportivo returns to Madrid on Saturday, but this time in order to face Rayo Vallecano (Estadio de Vallecas, 16h00 CET). It’s an important game for Depor, because the Galicians have missed the victory since matchday 01 and they want to add points in order to face with calmness the next games against FC Barcelona and RC Celta.

After two weeks without injury concerns, Oltra is now having a player out for an official game: Manuel Pablo. The right-back sustained a hamstring strain on his left leg during the heavy defeat against Real Madrid, reason why he was replaced at half-time. The scans confirmed the injury on Tuesday and the Canarian player should remain sidelined for at least three weeks. It’s the same muscle that sidelined him for four months during the past season, so the doctors are worried of his situation.

There are no more injury concerns at Depor’s first team; Riki was replaced in the game played at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium due to a muscle problem, but was already training on Monday and therefore is available for the coach. Besides, the Madrilenian attacker is playing without the mask that he wore in the past two games after suffering a nose fracture.

On Wednesday’s training, Oltra was insisting with the pressure that the centre midfielders and wingers should put to the rival. The Valencian coach also had a personal conversation with Juan Carlos Valerón at the end of the session.

At Rayo Vallecano, the team coached by Paco Jemez had a solid start adding seven of the first nine points, but later suffered three straight defeats. The club’s officials want to avoid more problems and are trying to fill the stadium for Saturday; in this sense they are reducing the prices of the tickets and are offering promotions like two tickets for the price of €9.95

There are no injury concerns for the game against Deportivo; on the last clash visiting Real Valladolid Galician keeper Rubén Martínez was dragging a muscle problem, reason why Jemez picked three keepers for the game; in the end Rubén was the starter and swallowed the six goals in the heavy loss at the Zorilla stadium.

The referee for the match was going to be Alfonso Javier Álvarez Izquierdo, who before whistled the game Real Betis Vs. Atletico Madrid, but after his polemic decisions the referee’s competition committee decided to give the game to Pedro Jesús Pérez Montero; this last referee was already in three liga matchdays on this season, the last one the 2-0 win of Valencia CF over Real Zaragoza.
