42 Primera players have played all the possible minutes after the first seven matchdays, only 31 of them are field players. There are two men belonging to Deportivo: defender Carlos Marchena and midfielder Abel Aguilar.

Centre back Carlos Marchena and centre midfielder Abel Aguilar are fixed starters and key players in the scheme of Oltra. A proof of this is the fact that both men have played all the possible minutes after seven matchdays in la liga (630).

Marchena has filled the gap left by Diego Colotto after his departure to RCD Espanyol and the Madrilenian is now the leader at Depor’s defense. Aguilar, meanwhile, is the motor at midfield claiming one of the spots that on last season were for Álex Bergantiños or Juan Dominguez.

Only forty- two players at Liga BBVA have disputed all the possible minutes in this start of season, and only thirty-one of them are field players (23 defenders and 8 midfielders). The other seven midfielders that have played all the minutes are: Markel Bergara (Real Sociedad), Victor Sánchez (RCD Espanyol), Jesús Navas (Sevilla CF), Carlos Gurpegui (Athletic Bilbao), Victor Pérez (Real Valladolid), Ignacio Camacho (Malaga CF) and Javi Fuego (Rayo Vallecano).

The  other 22 defenders with a perfect mark are: Sergio Ballesteros (Levante UD), Javier Paredes, Abraham (both Zaragoza), Antonio Rukavina (Valladolid), Martin Demichelis, Welington, Nacho Monreal (trio from Malaga), Miranda (Atletico Madrid), Cicinho, Fernando Navarro (both Sevilla), Allan Nyom, Iñigo López (both Granada), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Victor Ruiz (Valencia), Gustavo Cabral, Andrés Tuñez (both Celta), Miguel Torres, Juan Valera (both Getafe), Daniel Estrada, De La Bella, Mikel González (trio from Real Sociedad) and Iraola (Athletic Bilbao).

Left-back Evaldo was also part of this list as he played all the possible minutes before the visit to Rayo Vallecano, but he was replaced at halftime in Vallecas. Meanwhile, left winger Pizzi has only missed four minutes on the season as he was replaced in the opening matchday playing at the Riazor against CA Osasuna.

Keeper Daniel Aranzubia (586 minutes) missed the second half against Valencia CF as he was facing a gastric problem.  Right winger Bruno Gama (574) and centre midfielder Juan Dominguez (511) complete the list of seven players at Depor that already completed 500 or more minutes on the liga campaign.

Totally, Oltra has only used 19 of the 26 players that he has at the first team. The seven men that still have to debut on this league season are: right-back Diego Seoane, centre back Roderick Miranda, left-back Tiago Pinto, right winger Saul Fernandez, centre midfielder Jesús Vázquez, left winger Diogo Salomão and striker Rodolfo Bodipo.
