Depor’s coach doesn’t seem happy with the efforts done by the club in order to hire players, he also confirmed that Lucas Pérez & Eyong Enoh are practically signed, while also admitted the interest in Isaac Cuenca.

Fernando Vázquez, who has been in shadows in recent weeks, talked to the media during a public act in which Pablo Insua was presenting his training camp for lads in Arzúa. The first thing that called the attention is that El Profesor isn’t happy with the moves made by the club during the summer window, “The first option might be a bomb, but the true is that we always end getting the option number six or seven. We never get what we want to sign, it is the problem. Clearly this year we have some money to spend, totally different to last year, time we had to get players on loan. “

Later he confirmed that Lucas Pérez & Eyong Enoh are signed, “The players are practically confirmed by the papers. Canella, the left-back. Enoh, the centre midfielder, he’s Cameroonian. Then Lucas Pérez. We still have to at least get five or six footballers. We have only signed Enoh and Lucas Pérez from the attacking line and would need two more centre-backs to put pressure to Pablo [Insua]. Thinking that Juan Dominguez is a starter, the rest of the attacking positions are pending.”

Finally, Vázquez admitted that Depor is interested in Barca’s players Isaac Cuenca, “He’s a lad that knows how to play and that knows how to combine. If you pass him the ball searching for the free space then he will use his velocity. He wouldn’t bring goals, but as we intend to sign the goal from other source then it’s enough.”

The position of Vázquez is clearly opposite to the one of the club, because president Tino Fernández doesn’t want to talk of names until the operations are closed. On Friday he just admitted that there’s a player currently flying to A Coruńa in order to sign for the club. That player is winger Lucas Pérez, who will sign in a loan deal that should include a buyout option.

About Cameroonian Eyong Enoh, and despite the words of the coach, Depor haven’t closed yet the operation as the midfielder has a contract with Antalyaspor Kulübü. The Galician club already agreed terms with the player, but the condition is to see him cancelling his contract with the Turkish side, so it isn’t possible to confirm the signing at this point; actually it looks complicate as Antalyaspor paid €300,000 for the player in January.
