Big game for Depor at the Riazor. The coach recovers Juan Domínguez, so only Cezary Wilk remains out injured. Levante will miss their top-scorer, David Barral.

The final game at the Riazor is turning to be the key game to clinch the permanence. Depor will reach the final matchday without securing the goal, but a victory against Levante UD is key for it (Sunday, 19h00 CET).

Despite the importance of the meeting the first team has faced the week in a normal mode, completing one session per day and without any special routine. Perhaps the only difference is that the video sessions have been longer, as example on Tuesday as the video session, always held previously to the training on the pitch, lasted one hour.

Good news on the week for coach Víctor Sánchez. First to all centre midfielder Juan Dominguez is back after a fortnight. The Galician player has been off with a Soleus injury; he joined the trainings on this week and received the medical okay to play on Thursday.

At the same time centre midfielder José Rodríguez picked a hamstring injury during Tuesday and skipped the next session, but by Thursday he was already fine. Still, he hasn’t been part of the plans since the arrival of Víctor (out of the list of picked players for the last three games).

Cezary Wilk is the only player that will miss the game. The Polish midfielder is working on his recovery process after a toe fracture and will either miss the last game on the season. Luisinho, Pablo Insua, Laure, Lucas Pérez and Diogo Salomão picked knocks during the last sessions, but the four of them should be fine for Sunday.

For Thursday the coach also picked ten players from Depor B in order to train with the first team: goalkeepers David Gómez and Veloso, defenders Jorge Fernández, Iago López and Adrián Martínez, winger Miguel Cardoso, plus midfielders Álvaro Queijeiro, Marcos Remeseiro, Santi Taboada and Sam Piette.

At Levante UD, the team is close to clinch the salvation. A victory will secure the permanence, while a draw, and even a defeat, can do the same depending on other results. The main problem for coach Lucas Alcaraz is the suspension of striker David Barral, who picked the tenth yellow card on the season during the past match against Atlético Madrid.

Barral is the top-scorer at the team with eleven goals in favour, five of them in his last ten appearances.  The other player that will miss the game at the Riazor is centre midfielder Pape Diop, the Senegalese has been off for more than a month with a mysterious ankle injury. There are comments suggesting that he’s off as his contract is ruling out in June (apparently close to sign for RCD Espanyol).

French midfielder Mohamed Sissoko suffered a wrist sprain, but will be available for the game against Depor, while veteran defender Juanfran García is doubtful after picking a knock during Tuesday’s training.
