Deportivo started on Monday the second week in Guitiriz; coach Víctor Sánchez has many issues to solve ahead of the league season, the main issues are in attack as only Oriol Riera and Luis Alberto has a secure place.

Haris Medunjanin joined the trainings on Monday after endings his vacation period. The arrival of the Bosnian raised the number of players training with the first team to 26, but the true is that only 14 men have a secure spot at the squad. The rest of slots must be covered with new signings or with the players that are currently trying to earn the coach’s trust.

The main problems are located in attack, Víctor has no natural wingers and only one fixed striker for next season (Oriol Riera) plus another man that can perform either on the sides or in the playmaking function (Luis Alberto). The rest depends on the signings and if Luis Fernández, Miguel Cardoso and Dani Iglesias can convince the coach.

Things are more stable at midfield and defence. With the signing of Sidnei still pending to be completed the team already has three centre-backs (Insua, Lopo and Arribas), while the sides seem to be the best covered position, though the latest injury of Manuel Pablo might move the club to attempt a signing to compete with Laure, the other option is to keep Diego Seoane.

At midfield there’s a high competence with Álex Bergantiños, Juan Dominguez, Haris Medunjanin and Celso Borges, the latter still has to join the pre-season. In any case the club seems to not be happy yet and is searching for new alternatives for the centre of the field, while Sergio Teles and Álvaro Queijeiro are battling to get a spot.

The goal seems covered with Lux and Fabricio, though the exit of the Canarian will move the club to make a signing, but before making a move Deportivo will wait for the arrival of a proper offer.
