Depor B start the pre-season today; only eight players continue from last season, there are five new signings and the rest are coming from Juvenil B, though there are a lot of things still to be defined.

After a short break, Deportivo B return to the training pitch today. The team will continue to play at Tercera División after failing to reach the promotion in the playoff. Coach Manu Mosquera, who was elected as the best coach on last season, stays in the job. He was about to leave as his second job as chief of the academy in the Galician federation was forcing him to quit, but in the end president Tino Fernández insisted and Mosquera is staying.

As it happens with the first team the final composition of the squad is not defined yet.  22 players can be inscribed in the Tercera season and for now the team will start to train having 25 lads in the sessions, so there will be more exits and also more arrivals, so the final team might change a lot.

First to all only eight players are continuing from last season: keeper David Gómez, centre-backs Róber and Iago López, centre-backs Ángel Fernández, Santi Taboada, Sam Piette and Álvaro Queijeiro, plus striker Dani Iglesias.

Of this short list it is possible that Sam Piette, Dani Iglesias and Álvaro Queijeiro can be loaned out to an upper team in order to see them playing in another league. That’s the case of keeper Javi Ortega. He was going to be promoted from Depor B, but since David Gómez signed the renewal it was decided to loan him out to Tercera club CD Buñol.

For the moment the club has made five signings for Fabril: left-back defender Lucas Viña (19), playmaker Álex Corredera (19), striker Borja Domingo (19), plus centre midfielders Emanuel Davide Teixeira da Silva 'Manu' and Eduardo Expósito Jaen 'Edu' (18). Domingo was signed from Valencia’s academy during last week, while Portuguese Manu and Edu were signed on Monday.

The club is expecting to make more signings actually some players will be on trial during this week expecting to be accepted. Meanwhile, the club has been linked with Portuguese centre-back Rui Manuel Varejão (18), Uruguayan centre-back Nico Pandiani (21, Walter’s son), Hungarian striker Bence Mervó (20) and Portuguese attacker Jardel Silva (17), in the case of Jardel and Varejão they might join Juvenil A.

The rest of players that will start to train with the team are coming from Juvenil A: goalkeeper Anxo Pérez, centre-backs Bamba and Miguel Muñoz, centre midfielders Nico Sánchez and Hugo Rama, winger Sergio Pereira, plus attackers Pancho Cotos, Manu Nogueira and Álvaro López.

Not even this list is definitive as other four Juvenil A players will train with the team waiting for a decision about his possible promotion or instead if they will keep playing at División de Honor. These players are right-back Anxo Pérez, who scored with the first team on last week, centre-backs Hugo Díaz and Quique Fornos plus winger Oscar García

Fabril’s squad at this point:
Goalkeepers: David Gómez & Anxo Pérez
Defenders: Róber Suárez, Lucas Viña, Iago López, Bamba & Miguel Muñoz.
Midfielders: Ángel Fernández, Santi Taboada, Hugo Rama, Sam Piette, Álvaro Queijeiro, Manu Teixeira, Edu Expósito, Sergio Pereira, Nico Sánchez & Álex Corredera.
Attackers: Pancho Cotos, Manu Nogueira, Álvaro López, Borja Domingo and Dani Iglesias.

There are novelties about the pre-season; the team will be training in the mornings at Abegondo, which is a big change as until last season the team was training in the afternoons. The reason is that Víctor Sánchez requested this in order to be able to pick more frequently players from Depor B for the trainings with the first team.

Fabril debut in the Tercera season visiting CD Boiro (August 22), the club already booked five friendly games for the team, including a match against Welsh club Pontypridd FC:
25/Jul/2015: Viveiro CF vs Deportivo B
29/Jul/2015: Deportivo B vs Pontypridd FC
02/Aug/2015: TBA (copa Diputación)
08/Aug/2015: CD Lugo vs Deportivo B
15/Aug/2015: Silva SD vs Deportivo B
