Víctor travels to Valencia with 22 players, Lopo and Jonás Gutiérrez might be the men going out of the starting lineup while the coach seems eager to keep the draw of the last meetings.

After a couple of failed attempts using the 4-4-2, coach Víctor Sánchez seems now settled with the 4-2-3-1 and even with the variation of the 4-3-3. For the game against Levante he didn’t test an specific draw in the first trainings of the week, there was a session behind closed doors at the Riazor on Thursday and there will be a final session in the sporting city of Villarreal CF on Friday, but it doesn’t seem probable that Víctor is going to make big changes.

The repetition of the system is also possible taking in mind the rival; Levante UD need the points and will surely present an offensive formation, especially since new boss Rubi has switched the system with five defenders for a 4-1-4-1, so a draw with more presence at midfield is more probable.

At least one modification will take place compared to the 4-2-3-1 draw of the game with Atlético Madrid, it’s the exit of Albert Lopo, who is out of the clash due to a muscle problem. Clearly his spot will be covered by Alejandro Arribas.

Later, the big doubt is to see if Jonás Gutiérrez will stay in the formation, in the last game at the Riazor he was the playmaker, and now Víctor might allow the appearance of Cani, a move that will switch Faycal Fajr into the central positions in attack. The rest should be the same squad including the presence of Fede Cartabia on the right wing.

Since the team is traveling to Valencia early on Friday, the Madrilenian coach released the roster for the game since Thursday. He picked the 22 players available as he considers that the best thing is to have everyone available for the last training session.

Therefore the list includes the presence of left-back Saúl Garcia, winger Miguel Cardoso and centre midfielder Haris Medunjanin, trio that hasn’t debuted yet in the competition. In the case of Saul, it is the first time that he makes the trip for a league meeting, though probably he will end at the stands as the final list of 18 men will be released before the kick-off.

Other novelty is that, with Fabricio Agosto and Manu still out, the coach decided to pick both keepers from Fabril: David Gómez and Anxo Pérez, the latter is a 19-year-old goalie that debuted on this season with Depor B after been promoted from Juvenil A. The coach stated that both should be back in time for Sunday’s visit to Tercera leader UD Bárbadas.

Picked players Vs. Levante:
Goalkeepers: Lux, David Gómez & Anxo Pérez
Defenders: Laure, Sidnei, Arribas, Saúl García, Juanfran Moreno & Fernando Navarro.
Midfielders: Álex Bergantiños, Juan Domínguez, Pedro Mosquera, Fayçal Fajr, Medunjanin, Celso Borges, Jonás Gutiérrez, Cani, Cardoso & Cartabia.
Attackers: Lucas Pérez, Oriol Riera & Jonathan Rodríguez.
