Víctor is thinking of sitting Jonathan Rodriguez, something that move the coach to switch the draw. Mosquera is coming back, while Juanfran will play at the right side in defence.

After a month without making too many changes in liga, coach Víctor Sánchez is now eager in making changes for the game against SD Eibar. First to all Pedro Mosquera returns from suspension in order to join Álex Bergantiños at midfield.

Then the suspension of Laure means that Juanfran Moreno will have to delay his position in order to cover the right side in defence. This movement will open a spot in offense and it won’t be the last change to be made in attack.

Because Víctor is thinking in sitting Jonathan Rodriguez, the Uruguayan was a starter in three of the last four liga games, and in the game against Sevilla CF he was practically a starter as he had to replace Oriol Riera early in the match. What happens is that Jonathan isn’t fulfilling the expectations, after eight appearances he remains scoreless after completing fourteen shots.

It’s a low number of shots for a centre forward, because he only completed 1.75 per match. As a way of comparison Lucas Pérez completes three shots per match and already scored eleven goals in fifteen league appearances.

It means that Víctor could end up making at least three chances compared to the team that played at the Camp Nou. The options of the coach are to replace Jonathan with Luis Alberto and keep the 4-4-2, but the most probable scenario is to switch back to the 4-2-3-1.

Fede Cartabia has big options of entering at the right wing, with Fayçal Fajr being the playmaker or even with Luis Alberto on. Cani is not among the options, because he remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
