Víctor seems to be planning a repetition of the 4-4-2 scheme, but there will be changes as two normal starters are suspended.

During the week coach Víctor Sánchez didn’t test any specific draw for the game against Villarreal, it is the indication that he won’t modify the 4-4-2 system used in the past game with Getafe CF and during the major part of the season.

Juan Dominguez remains sidelined (ankle sprain), and with the suspensions of Fernando Navarro and Celso Borges, plus the punishment for Luisinho, it means that the coach could end traveling to Vila-real with the remaining eighteen available players.

The main doubt is who will play on the left side of the defence, with Luisinho not picked for the match, the options are to move Manuel Pablo or Juanfran to the left sector. The Canarian was tested there at the beginning of the week, but it isn’t probable that he can be a starter, after all his solo appearance as a starter took place two months ago (0-3 loss at Atlético Madrid)

In previous weeks Juanfran performed on the left side of the defense when Navarro was moved to the centre due to the suspension of Alejandro Arribas. So, this seems to be the most probable choice. Clearer is the situation at midfield as Álex Bergantiños will be joining Pedro Mosquera in the pivote tasks.

About the rest, no changes are expected. Perhaps the doubt would be if Cani or Cartabia will be playing on the right wing, though there’s also the option to see both men playing at the same time, in this case the Argentine would be moved to the left wing.
