Depor B is the new leader at Tercera after a convincing victory at home. The rival never demonstrated why it was the first place in the group before a deadly team in the counterattack.

Coach Cristobal Parrolo was recovering Óscar García, the winger was suspended for the past game at Villalonga. Parrolo returned to the “normal” lineup after the weird experiments made on last weekend. Striker Marcos Legaz was the only casualty for injury reasons.

The draw was a 4-2-3-1, Álex Cobo was the starting goalie, Blas Alonso performed at the right side of the defence, Lucas Viña did it at the left, the centre-backs were Quique Fornos and Nacho Monsalve. Edu Expósito and Álvaro Queijeiro were the centre midfielders, Borja Galán attacked from the right wing, Óscar did it from the left, Manu Molina was the playmaker and Borja Domingo was the centre forward.

The rival was Rápido de Bouzas, the team coached by Patxi Salinas arrived to the team defending the leadership and relying in Pablo Carnero, the fourth best scorer in the league with 13 goals added to his tally. Ex-Fabril captain Diego Vieytes was a starter at the centre of the defence.

Fabril are finally the leaders in the Galician group of Tercera after a convincing victory over the previous leaders. Óscar García shone in his return, while Borja Domingo and Borja Galán remain scoring goals.

Óscar starred the first two chances for the locals, the main one was a cross that was met by Edu Expósito and that the midfielder sent out from the edge of the area (16’). In the next twenty minute Fabril had the ball possession, but it lacked depth before the defensive wall planned by a Rapido de Bouzas that was counting in holding on until the second half.

But that picture changed with the first goal for Depor B. Queijeiro stole the ball at midfield and assisted Borja Galán who begun a long run that ended with a couple of dribbles and accurate shot into the top corner of visiting goalie Diego García. It is his seventh goal on the season.

The goal changed the script as Fabril were now passing the time and attempting quick counterattacks that gave a lot of problems to Rápido de Bouzas, side that never knew how to attack a team that faced less problems of the expected ones. The most dangerous counterattack for Depor B came at the last minute of the first half, it was a long run of Óscar that was headed out before the ball reached the path of Manu Molina (45’).

Rápido de Bouzas had a better ball possession during the second half, but it was ineffective as they weren’t creating scoring chances. Fabril were more dangerous and Borja Domingo was close to score twice, the main one was an assistance of Óscar that ended with the striker hitting the net by the outside (55’).

Parrolo knew that Fabril needed to score again in order to avoid problems and sought for more speed in attack, therefore Carlos López replaced Manu Molina and twelve minutes later the goal arrived. It was a polemic goal though as Borja Domingo seemed offside when he connected the cross from Edu Expósito. It is the 15th goal for the Valencian striker on this season.

The second goal ended the game though Rápido de Bouzas enjoyed their best chance in the game with a shot from Diego Diz that passed close to the post (76’).  Jardel replaced Borja Domingo and there was time for a third goal, again Óscar was involved as he made the play on the left wing, his cross was met by Borja Galán at the far post, who just assisted Álvaro Queijeiro to net from close range.

Everything was perfect for Depor B until this point, but the bad news came at the end as Borja Galán picked a thigh injury and had to be replaced by Carreón. Also Óscar ended the game with an ankle twist.

Great victory for Depor B, Óscar returned and commanded a team that’s now the leader with eleven matchday to go. The next game for Fabril is the visit to CD Choco, centre midfielder Queijeiro will miss the game after picking a fifth yellow card in this match.
