The permanence is secured, but protests are expected for the final game in liga. Pepe Mel recovers Sidnei, but losses Celso Borges and Lux for suspension.

Calm week in A Coruña, after securing the permanence on last Sunday, the team had faced the calmest week on the season, also the most relaxed one as the team will only complete three training sessions (two at the Riazor) before the closing game before UD Las Palmas (Riazor, Saturday, 19h00 CET).

But it won’t be a relaxed game, the Riazor Blues already announced protests for the poor season of the team, they will leave the pitch at minute 30 and are demanding a “cleaning” inside the team plus the resignation of the sporting director. The mod among the rest of the fans seems to be following a similar path according to the behaviour in previous games, so it could be an uncomfortable match for the players.

For the final game in liga, coach Pepe Mel will have nineteen players available as there are four casualties. Centre-back Sidnei Rechel returns after missing the last three games due to a thigh injury. Meanwhile, Juanfran (knee) and Alejandro Arribas (Achilles) were dragging issues, but they joined the training on Thursday and should be available.

The four players out of the game are Joselu (Achilles) and Luisinho (knee), plus Celso Borges and German Lux, who are suspended after picking the fifth yellow card of the season in the visit to Villarreal CF.

At UD Las Palmas, the sense of disappointment is similar to the one had at Depor after the bad results of the second round. Coach Quique Setíen won’t continue, while the attention is focused in who could be his successor plus the endless rumours of possible exits during the summer window.

For the game at the Riazor, Setién will have four casualties: Left-back Dani Castellano (thigh), playmaker Tana (Achilles), centre midfielder Vicente Gómez (muscle) and striker Marko Livaja (suspension).
