Galicia equalised with Ecuador at the Riazor in its second official game. The better players for the Galician side were Borja, Trashorras and Diego Castro. Depor's Barrag??n started on the match, while Iago entered in the game during the second half.

The Galician national team left a positive image at the Riazor. The team coached by Arsenio and Fernando V??zquez dominated the first half thanks to the work done by the midfielders Borja and Trashorras. However, it was Ecuador with its counterattacks the one that enjoyed of the better occasions to score, but goalkeeper Diego L??pez made three vital saves for his squad.

One of the problems in Galicia was the absence of a reference in the striking zone. Nacho Novo couldn't join the concentration, and Pablo Cou?±ago got injured during the first minutes of the game. Losada replaced him, but the squad lost effectiveness. The most dangerous occasion for the local side was in the boots of Trashorras, he faced keeper Arag??n in a hand-to-hand action and tried to lift the ball over his head, but it wen over the crossbar.

The score was 0-0 at half-time. Then, Galicia made several substitutions. Ecuador continued with its defensive tactic, and the home side dominated once again the actions thanks to the contribution of Jonathan Pereira, Vila and Diego Castro. This last one was the most dangerous player on the pitch. Sporting Gij??n's midfielder was tackle twice in Ecuador's area, but the referee Gonz??lez V??zquez didn't allow the penalty.

Suddenly, Ecuador found the goal thanks to a free-kick taken by Ren??n Calle. Galicia reacted and equalised thanks to a new play generated by Diego Castro. He ran all over the left wing and made a cross that Jonathan Pereira sent to the back of the net.

The only two Deportivo's players on this match were Antonio Barrag??n and Iago Iglesias. Barrag??n was part of the starting eleven and didn't have too much participation in the game. Iago entered during the second half and made a positive work in midfield. He started on the left wing and ended on the right.
