Parralo is close to have a full squad available, it’s expected that Rubén Martínez and Adrián López will be ready for the visit to Málaga CF, therefore only Carles Gil will remain on the sidelines.

New coach Cristóbal Parralo had to face three official games during his first ten days with the first team. Now he is having two weeks before the next game visiting bottom place Málaga CF, a new important game in the race for the permanence.

Despite losing the last game against Atlético Madrid, there’s a sense of calm among the fans, because the team showed a pattern within the last two games, but results will also be necessary if Deportivo want to avoid further problems.

The team completed four training sessions during the week, five players have skipped the work as they are concentrated with their national teams: Celso Borges (Costa Rica), Fabian Schär (Switzerland), Fede Valverde (Uruguay). Florin Andone and Costel Pantilimon (both Romania).

The good news regarding the international players is that Americans Borges and Valverde are playing in Europe with their national teams, so the coach won’t have to wait until Friday or even Saturday in order to have them working ahead of the liga clash.

There are more good news coming with the injured players, because two of them have solid chances of been available for the next game. Keeper Rubén Martínez has lasted more time of the expected one after suffering a thumb injury, but he is already fine and is only waiting for the medical okay.

Meanwhile, striker Adrián López will be returning before the expectations after suffering a strong knock on his right shoulder during the game against Girona FC (October 23). He will join the group on next week and could be available too. The only player that will remain sidelined is playmaker Carles Gil, who should be ack in December.

Other two men have been dragging issues: playmaker Fede Cartabia and left-back Luisinho. The Argentine has been dragging muscle problems and the doctors decided to have him training apart during this week, but he will join the group on Monday. In the case of the Portuguese, he was replaced the game with Atlético due to a thigh problem, but the scans didn’t detect any injury and the player will also join the group on next week, so both men will be available for the visit to Málaga CF.

Parralo also used the week in order to give a chance to seven Fabril’s players that has the opportunity to train with the first team: Álex Cobo, Óscar, Edu Expósito, Quique Fornos, Carlos López, Martín Bengoa and Borja Galán. Juvenil A keeper Chema also trained with the group during Friday’s session.
