Depor rescued a point after coming from behind twice. Adrián scored and assisted, but Athletic had more opportunities and even hit the post twice.

Juanfran Moreno was the starting choice for the right back position in the surprise of coach Cristóbal Parralo at the starting lineup.  It was a 4-3-3 draw with Rubén Martínez at the goal, Fernando Navarro on the left, plus Raúl Albentosa and Fabian Schär performing at the centre of the defence.

The trio of centre midfielders was composed by Fede Valverde, Celso Borges and Pedro Mosquera. Fede Cartabia attacked from the right wing, Adrián López did it from the left and Lucas Pérez was the centre forward.

Two minutes later Lucas assisted Adrián and, after dribbling three rivals, the Asturian released a low shot that was saved by visiting goalie Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The first attempt in the second half was a shot of Cartabia from the edge of the area, he was assisted by Lucas and the ball went out (50’). Six minutes later the Riazor protested a clear penalty over Cartabia. The Argentine was about to collect the ball at the box and Mikel Rico came from behind and kicked him in the chest as he was trying to clear the danger.

And then Athletic scored its second goal. Substitute Raúl García collected the ball without any pressure and then assisted Iñaki Williams, who crossed Rubén firing from the right side of the area. The locals felt the hit and the Basques continued striking, at minute 64, Mikel Rico missed the target when he was alone at the left side of the area.
