Big win for Fabril, the rival lost a man early in the match, but Fabril could only seize the numeric advantage until the second part.

Óscar García and Álex Cobo were still out injured, while Carlos López was suspended. Juvenil A top-scorer Álex Boedo was picked by Gustavo Munúa, who presented again a lineup with three centre midfielders.

The lineup was a 4-3-3 figure with Francis Uzoho covering the goal, Blas Alonso performed at the right-back position, Raúl González and Quique Fornos were the centre-backs, Diego Caballo performed at the left side. Edu Expósito, Martín Bengoa and Álvaro Queijeiro were the centre midfielders, Borja Galán attacked from the right wing. Jorge Romay performed towards the left, then Uxío Dapena was the centre forward.

The rival was Atlético Madrid B, team trying to enter into the promotion zone and that needed the three points. Coach Óscar Fernández was relying in Salomon Obama and Toni Moya for the goals.

Depor’s lads seized the fact that Atlético played with ten men for 75 minutes, though the goals arrived until the second part. Fabril started better in the game, Edu Expósito hit the crossbar with a shot from long range, then the ball hit the goal line and went out (7’). The first approximation for the locals was shot of Toni Moya that missed the target (12’).

Romay was close to score at minute 14, he connected a cross from Blas Alonso and local goalie Miguel San Román made the save. Then midfielder Keidi was sent off with two yellow cards. He tried to simulate a penalty, he was booked for it and then the second yellow came for protesting.

Atlético Madrid were now forced to play with ten men for 75 minutes and they felt the disadvantage. Uxio had the next opportunity with a shot blocked by San Román (23’). Fabril had the game where they wanted, they started to push, but weren’t creating too many clear opportunities.

The second half started with a new shot of Fabril that hit the woodwork, this time the attempt was for Martin Bengoa (48’).  Munúa ordered the first modification and Luis Fernández replaced Bengoa. The move was trying to unclog the attacking line and somehow it worked, because Fabril scored two goals in a frame of three minutes.

The first goal was made by Caballo, his cross from the left was headed by Quique Fornos and Romay scored with a strong shot past San Román. The second goal arrived only two minutes later, a cross from the right made by Blas Alonso was collected by Uxio Dapena, his shot was deflected by a rival and went in.

Atlético B gave up after the goals and Fabril had a pleasant end of game, Bicho was the second substitution as he replaced Romay. A third goal arrived, again Caballo made the play on the left, he released a cross that Uxio connected to score his brace.

The locals, somehow, had a hope at the end of the game, first Francis failed to block a ball and Manny Alexander came from behind to score the goal. Then defender Antonio Montoro was close to score heading a corner-kick action (85’). But it was Fabril the side that was going to score the last goal, it was a new pass of Caballo that allowed Luis Fernández to score in a one-on-one action before San Román. Luismi had the chance to have his first minutes on the season as he replaced Borja Galán.

Fabril lasted in finding the goals, it hit the post twice and scored four goals to claim the first position at the standings. Great game by Caballo, Uxio and Borja Galán. the next game is the derby against Celta B (Abegondo, Saturday, 18h00 CET).
