Two signings, one renewal and four exits; the club announced the first movements at Fabril for the season 2018/19, while it still searching for the coach.

On Tuesday the club announced the first movements at Fabril ahead of the campaign 2018/19. The first two signings are centre midfielder Diego Villares (22, Racing Villalbés) and right winger Víctor García Raja (21, Torre Levante).

Villares was among the best players at Racing Vilalbés, a team that qualified for the playoffs to Segunda B and that was eliminated. In the case of Víctor García, he played at Tercera División and scored 11 goals in 36 games in the season that has ended. Both players signed two-year contracts.

At the same time, it was announced that strikers Luis Fernández and Jardel plus midfielders Martín Bengoa and Álvaro Queijeiro won’t continue for the new season. It’s also probable that Óscar García won’t continue as he didn’t accept the renewal offer.

Who did accept the renewal offer was striker Uxío Dapena, he was the top-scorer during the season that has ended (9 goals scored in 33 Segunda B appearances) and will play one more season with Fabril.

The club still searching for the coach after the exit of Gustavo Munúa. The first candidate for the job was Julián Calero, who commanded Navalcarnero during the season 2017/18, but he preferred the option of AD Alcorcón at Segunda División.
