MATCHDAY 05: FIRST DRAMA AT SEGUNDA

Málaga CF continue with its perfect mark of victories, while the first coach to be fired in Joseba Exteberria as CD Tenerife have only added 3 points. He was replaced by ex-Depor Oltra.

The Segunda season is starting to take shape as only four teams remain undefeated. One of them is Málaga CF. The Andalusians trashed Córdoba CF (3-0) and present a perfect mark of five victories in five matches. Another recently relegated club, UD Las Palmas, defeated Extremadura UD on the road (1-2) and is also at the top. Rubén Castro scored one of the goals and he is already the Pichichi of the league with 6 goals.

Granada CF are also enjoying a solid start, on the weekend they trashed Rayo Majadahonda (3-0). The big surprise is Albacete Balompié, they are one of the four teams that remain undefeated, though in this matchday they could only get a 1-1 draw hosting Cádiz CF.

Meanwhile, Real Zaragoza and Deportivo suffered their first defeats on the season. Los Maños were surprised by UD Almeria (2-1), while Depor couldn’t do anything visiting AD Alcorcón (1-0). Another candidate, Sporting Gijón, dropped two points at home against CD Numancia (1-1).

Real Oviedo returned to winning ways and surprised CD Lugo (0-2), while CF Reus is another of the surprises as they beat CD Tenerife on the road (0-1). The Catalans are only one point behind Deportivo.

Precisely, the defeat of CD Tenerife meant the exit of coach Joseba Exteberria. The first coach that loses his ob on this season. He was fired after only five matchdays as his team has only added three points. He will be replaced by Ex-Depor José Luis Oltra.

There are other three teams that remain winless: Extremadura UD, Córdoba CF and Elche CF, the latter could only draw with RCD Mallorca (1-1). Gimnástic Tarragona left the bottom places with their first victory of the campaign hosting CA Osasuna (1-0).

MATCHDAY 06: BG GAMES AT THE TOP
First big exam for Málaga CF as they visit UD Las Palmas, the current first two places are colliding. Meanwhile, Deportivo entertain Granada CF, one of the teams that remain undefeated. Another interesting game is the visit of Albacete Balompié to RCD Mallorca.

The matchday is completed with other eight games: CA Osasuna Vs. Sporting Gijón; Rayo Majadahonda Vs. Extremadura UD; Real Zaragoza Vs. CD Lugo; Córdoba CF Vs. CD Tenerife; Real Oviedo Vs. Elche CF; CF Reus Vs. Gimnástic Tarragona; CD Numancia Vs. UD Almeria & Cádiz CF Vs. AD Alcorcón.
